Dhampir x Vampire
MC is a Dhampir, the forsaken outcome of a human and vampire coupling. Dhampirs are hated by both sides; too vampire to be human, too human to be vampire. Dhampirs are also considered inherently dangerous; they have many of the powers of a vampire, but significantly less of the weaknesses. MC has just been attempting to find a place in life; living on the outskirts of a human town where he is mostly just tolerated because he's been able to protect them.
YC is an ancient/powerful but very world-weary and bored vampire who has become aware of MC after one of his fledglings is killed by him after they attempted to bleed the town dry. He is disgusted of MC's existence and enraged a lowly Dhampir is who killed one of his 'children.' He abducts MC with the intent to torture and kill him, only to realize the challenge MC presents him; reminding him of his own former life of a human. This, paired with his curiosity of how different Dhampirs are is the first interesting thing to happen in his life in hundreds of years.
While MC would technically be the weaker of the two/a slave at first, it would quickly lead to a power struggle between the two.
The Pirate and the Prince
Master x Pet
MC is a pirate that found himself captured by local government/monarchy. He either had the choice of being executed, or work for the government for their navy due to his prowess on the seas. MC would have taken the execution route if it wasn't for that he has a very important cache of unseen treasures that he doesn't want anyone else to have. So he's taken his licks to become the government's puppet; at least for the time being - until his long-con plan is able to become fully realized and turn against them. As a pirate he was ruthless, as a naval commander his ruthlessness is still there, though reflected in being one of the most stern and hard to work with. He hates his situation, and is a ticking time bomb for anything to set him over the edge.
YC is the youngest Prince, who is well known as being an utter and complete brat even though he's in his 20's. He is the most spoiled of his siblings, to the point where the monarchy are getting rid of him for awhile by sending him off to a far away country under the guise of 'establishing connections and trade' with other countries. He believes that he is in control of MC's ship just because he is the Prince and attempts to bring his spoiled brat behavior on the open seas; only to quickly realize that his nobility and position means nothing once leaving his Kingdom's threshold, and not everyone is willing to tolerate him.
[Note: This is going to be an age difference and punishment/bdsm/humiliation situation, but we can hash out how far you're comfortable going]

Demon x Angel [with a twist]
MC is a Seraphim. You know, one of the kinds of terrifying 'biblically accurate' angels, [eyeballs everywhere, a ton of wings, etc etc etc] in one of the most powerful angel hierarchies. Heaven is losing it's grasp on humanity in the current day, due to everyone rejecting the light of god and instead going the way of atheism, or reverting to paganism. This is turning the tide towards the ever-waging heaven vs hell war, as it's become far easier for demons to tempt humans to empower Hell's forces.
It's become so dire that even Seraphim/Ophalim are being asked to go to earth again to try to guide humans back to god's light. However, because last time screaming 'FEAR NOT' and showing their true forms to humans was an absolute disaster, these powerful angels must learn the way of the human and take humanoid forms.
MC hasn't been to Earth/around humans since the medieval ages, and is a fish out of water. They're naive as to the ways of humanity and often end up doing more harm than good; turning more humans towards what they've been told is 'sin' - only because they respect that humans were given free will, so why not let them use it? They are chaos incarnate without even knowing it. They were sent to Earth to focus on a specific group of humans; a polycule of pagans/atheists/satanists who just want to live their lives happily without rigid societal constructs.
YC is a demon who has been overviewing this same polycule of humans and hasn't had to do all that much. However, he quickly realizes that MC isn't a standard angel. He has to intervene multiple times for MC to not reveal their existence to mankind/keep an eye on MC/even may start to feel bad that MC is so bad at their task. YC would recognize that MC is an angel but not such a powerful one, [and for awhile wouldn't know what their true form looks like/hasn't seen their kind before] as to realize that MC is far scarier [and more powerful] than themselves. [It would be revealed later]
It's fun for YC to pick on/cause mischief for/seduce MC. MC doesn't find most demons to be a threat, often finding them cute - and reminds many that they are the children of a fallen angel. [YC doesn't have to be a 'low ranking' demon, but just lower than MC's hierarchy/realizes that they could be easily annihilated by MC. This can be used as a kink/power bottom situation]
This would start as an unusual friendship/rivals to lovers situation. Because MC is unfamiliar with most things human including affection/sexuality/etc whereas YC is, a lot of shenanigans would ensue. While MC would ultimately be the more submissive of the two, switch/verse for both is preferred when it comes to power dynamics. [size difference a plus]
To Open One's Eyes
Orc x Elf/Fae/etc
YC is some kind of fae that's on the daintier/delicate/smaller side. [Elf, Fairy, etc]. He is important in his kingdom [It's up to you as to the why - royalty, have to carry something important, a specific magic user, etc] but must travel to a far away fae kingdom that is in some kind of trouble. No one has been able to use magic to travel there, and contact has been snuffed out. The only way to get there is to manually travel there. The larger groups of travelers have been taken out by mysterious means, and so instead small, staggered groups have to be sent out.
YC needs an escort that can protect him against both magic and non-magic foe. YC is not happy when he finds out that he will be escorted by an Orc [MC]. To YC who has rarely left his own kingdom, fully believes the stereotypes; Orcs are barbarians that know nothing but violence, rape, and death. To YC they are stupid, red/green muscled monsters and that's it. YC believes that MC will turn traitor and murder/eat him as soon as they are far enough away.
However, it's quickly realized that MC is nothing like they had been told in pretty much every way - and YC's eyes are opened as to how wrong he is; especially as the attraction starts to set in.

☆ I'm more of a quality writing vs 'aesthetic flourishes' kinda person. I don't mind posts with pictures/gifs/formatting, but I also prefer quality responses and don't mind if the responses are aesthetically plain.

☆ I write in third person only [past tense]
☆ I can usually post weekly. Possibly 1-2 times a week if all goes well [not to say it might not be more but expectation-wise, I'm stating weekly]. My writing is very thorough and can take a bit of time, but I also work full time on top of current changing roles in my job. YC is a gargoyle, bound to a churchground as a slave whose priest master died many years ago. He is unable to leave and has long ago given up that he'd ever be free. However, the last few months a witch [MC] has started to visit him during the day and stayed with him for as long as possible before being torn away by the church before the sun sets. YC has started to pine for the man, the only company he's had in years and wants to protect him from the church's abuse that he also experiences.
MC is a captured witch who is terribly abused by the church, but kept around as a slave for his magic and body. The only thing keeping his mind from breaking is the solace he feels after having found a beautiful gargoyle statue that he goes to as much as he can. He isn't sure if the gargoyle is still alive or has let themselves stay as stone for good, but doesn't let that alter his interactions with him.
It is one evening when a series of events happens that allows for MC to be out at night and they finally get to see each other, revealing YC is very much alive. They wish to try and work towards freeing one another; even with the difficulties of their captors and only having access to each other at night.

YC is a merman creature of some sort. Preferably a 'non traditional' fish or sea creature of some kind. Think a merman that resembles an Oarfish, Anglerfish, Coelacanth, etc [the weirder, the better]. He has been exiled from his pod because of [whatever reason, up to you] and has been living on his own. He is regularly picked on by standard mer people because he's an oddball and doesn't belong, but also has never lived outside of his previous pod before and is barely surviving; he also misses his them and ultimately wishes to do whatever he can to be accepted again, mostly out of loneliness.
MC is a merman of the octopus variety. An apex predator and highly intelligent. Dangerous but also strangely playful and curious as well as completely alien to YC [and each other]. Initially finding YC out in the open, it seems like an easy lunch, only to realize that he's never seen a mer like YC before and despite being unconventional compared to the usual mer-types where he lives, he finds YC to be curious and even cute. [To YC's horror, as MC again, is a predator]
This would start as a highly unconventional enemy-to-friendship-to-romance situation.

An Echo Left Behind
Spirit/Ghost x Human
YC is a loner, down on his luck, who never understood why he hasn't had much success in life. He used to live with his great uncle, until he was taken away due to his uncle's eccentricities - despite that he was one of the few people who ever openly showed him love and care. He was placed within the foster system instead where his abuse was rampant. He never learned why he was taken away from his great uncle. Yet recently has been approached by an estate lawyer to let him know that said great uncle has died, and willed him everything - including his massive, isolated manor. Part of his will has left YC with a novella of instructions; in which YC realizes that his uncles eccentricities were actually his interests and dabbling in the occult. He is told that apart of his estate comes with something unimaginable; a ghost/spirit, bound to the mansion. He is instructed to not research into releasing this spirit, as the may end up being vengeful - yet to take care of him regardless.
MC is said ghost/spirit. Long ago his form was trapped by YC's great uncle in a ritual against his ethereal will. It was a violent, angry start, but after many years together of trying to understand each other, they fell in love - even despite their circumstances. Yet MC, ever eternal, had to watch his lover age and eventually die before figuring out how to release him so they could be together in death. MC is angry that the small child that he once played with in the halls is now his new 'owner.' Upon seeing him, he realizes that YC is an almost mirror image of his former lover. This makes him angrier in his despair, grief, and enslavement. Despite this, he can't look at YC without thinking of his past love and desperately wants to feel that connection again.
