Spoiler: Societal Ranks

For both Elevated and humans, there are three ranks derived from the pack structure of wolves. Think omegaverse stuff, without the inherent sexual element.

For Elevated, Alphas are Titans, Betas are Providers, and Omegas are Gifted. Titans have powers best used for combat, and regularly hold positions of leadership and law enforcement. Providers have an essential service or commodity to provide from their powers, such as acting as a source of renewable energy with their powers or simply being able to commercialize the use of their abilities. Gifted are those just above human with powers giving them abilities almost within the reach of human possibility, and normally hold very basic positions that don't usually require higher education.

For humans, Alphas are Diplomats, Betas are Citizens, and Omegas are Slaves. Diplomats are humans with connections to the outside world who report information about New Olympus back out upon review, and hold about the same rank of importance as Providers. Citizens are average people, who like Gifted, hold down mostly basic jobs. Slaves are humans who are sold to Elevated in lieu of prison sentences, to serve them in all things until their sentence is completed. However, it's not uncommon for humans to come to New Olympus with the goal of simply being a slave.

Personality: Like all well-bred Betas, Mae can afford to be aloof to just about anyone, friendliest to those of her status and above. However, she has something of a soft spot for humans, rumored to occasionally give out a free make-over to someone she feels deserves it.
Bio: Born within the walls to two Alpha parents, Mae came as something of a surprise when it was discovered that her powers had no offensive capabilities. They felt cheated out of a great warrior, and to rid themselves of her with grace, her parents pawned her off to the then president and their family for the exclusive use of her abilities until she came of age.

Once she was 18, Mae fully realized the commercial value of her powers and started working for the highest bidders she could find, in and out of New Olympus. Opting towards charging prices affordable by only the very most elite in the world, hardly anyone has a chance at being able to pay without bankrupting themselves. ​

Powers: Weapon Creation (think Rose Tattoo from DC, Edward Elric, Gilgamesh from Fate, Yaoyorozu from MHA, etc.) Capable of manifesting weapons from nothing and/or by shaping existing matter and energy.

Occupation: Chief Executive Officer.

Personality: Cold, calculating, manipulative. Jalen was given a great gift as an Enhanced and knew from a young age he would be given the world on a plate. This shaped him in what many would consider a negative way. Spoiled, arrogant, and used to getting what he wants, Jalen doesn't ask for things. He demands them, and he possesses the power to demand them. Knowledge may be power somewhere else, but in New Olympus, power is power. Viewing regular humans as nothing more than stepping stones and building blocks, the most basic positions in his company are filled with human slaves.

Bio: It was no surprise to anyone that Jalen ended up in a position of power. Both parents were Elevated, both were Alphas, and both were high-ranking members of society. Of course, they both died when Jalen was rather young. No one is immune to all accidents, but that isn't something Jalen ever discusses. Living in the past is admitting the future isn't worth grasping. In a contradiction, it was Jalen's past that gave him his future. His father owned Dyna Sun, a prominent empire of a company in New Olympus.

Once he passed away, the company went to Jalen. He assumed the role of CEO at far too young an age, but it was his legal right. Growing up in a position of authority tends to taint the mind, and currently at the age of thirty-one he is as horrifically jaded as they come. A tyrant of a businessman and not much better of a person, Jalen possesses both the financial power and the physical power to run rampant over society. Despite all of this, and despite the potential threat Jalen is, he is mostly left to his own devices. Dyna Sun is incredibly necessary to keep New Olympus in order, and Jalen isn't on the street murdering civilians. Truthfully, he does not bother most people if they do not stand in his way, and it is in the best collective interest to simply let him keep succeeding. His success fuels New Olympus, and as long as he isn't anything more than a glorified bully his actions are tolerable.

Powers: Bio-Electricity Manipulation - Jack Abbott is a living bio electric generator. His cells produce way more electricity than a normal person, resulting in a few abilities. The primary of which is that he can generate massive amounts of electricity by himself. This is primarily what got him classed as a Beta. The second ability is electricity manipulation. The father broad ability allows Jack to control and perceive electrical impulses in the air, and other people. He specialises in Bio-Electricity. The inherent electrical impulses present in most living things. The third is that because his cells produce so much electricity, they are relatively immune to its effects. Making him immune to electrical based attacks. He can also absorb electricity, working as a human battery.

Personality: Jack Abbott has hard a hard life, and it shows. He father was an electrokinetic, so he was pushed into that line of work since he was a child. As a result, his personality is a little blunt. He doesn't like Alphas, as they have often taken advantage of him, his father, and other Betas. He silently wishes for social reform, and abolishment of the Class system, but would never make a move against the Alphas. Not publicly anyway. He often drinks energy drinks, particularly those with lots of electrolytes, as they help boost his powers. He is often tired, and a little grumpy, as he works two jobs, because the guy who owns the power plant doesn't pay enough. As a result, when he does get time off, he spends it at shitty bars, drinking shitty beer or whisky.

Bio: Jack Abbott is the son of John Abbott, famed Electrokinetic. John was the best electrician that New Olympus has ever seen. A world class reputation. It would have been great for Jack, had his mother not left. She took half of everything, and it destroyed John. He turned to drinking, and his quality of work drastically decreased. Jack was twelve at the time, and endured hardships no twelve year old should.
Jack was forced to get a job at a power plant, where he used his abilities to help power the city. As he grew to be the bread winner for his drunk father, someone needed to take of the electrician business, so Jack took that over when he was eighteen. He had to, as when he was sixteen, some new guy took over Dyna Sun and lowered the wages because he was a young prick, with no feeling towards his subordinates.

Bio: Eden didn't learn that he had powers until he was 12 years of age, because of this he grew up thinking and believing he was an Omega. He and his sister Macey grew up being shipped around as househelp and never knew their parents. One day, in a particularly bad household, his sister was beaten to death. Eden then ran away, leaving the 'slave' system and getting out on his own. All the rough living in the streets sparked something in him and he discovered his phasing abilities. He wears the omega tattoo to remind him of where he came from and his sister.

Occupation: Transcripting, she basically just sits at home and listens to audios and types them out.

Personality:

Neva is a hard but quiet girl. She is never spoken to without at least being spoken to first, not to mention she never speaks out of turn. She's always light on her feet as well, if Invisibility weren't her power already, everyone would think she was. She tends to stay in dark areas, trying not to be noticed by others, not until she deems her appearance be well known.

She's not a very violent person but she isn't afraid to fight someone if needed, but in general she's a nice girl. She tries not to keep ties with people just because it makes things too complicated. Saying she was a loner would simplify her personality traits.

Bio:

Neva wasnt even a thought in anyone's mind when ever the war happened, she had never experienced death or even being hated for her 'gift' as her mother called it. Her mother raised her on the horror stories from the war times, she would tell her how humans would jump her and beat her till the brink of death, she was hardly able to fight back for fear of being murdered.

Her father was also of one of them, but he was killed during an attack. He had died before she was even born, so she really couldn't miss him. Her mother never had much to do with her besides to make sure she was terrified of the humans, she was always sticking her off to the next person to deal with her. Causing her to realize from a young age that she could only trust herself because she would forever be the only person to stay by her side.

As she grew older she was able to control her powers better, as any other, but when she was younger she would "disappear" from her mother when she was with her. Not really realizing that she was doing it until her mother was screaming for her and she was right in front of her. Luckily her mom wanted her stay out and away from the others, so she kept her homeschooled. She was raised to be a loner, whether her mother intended her to be that way or not she would never know.

Neva is a really sweet girl once you start to talk to her, but if you stay in a room with her for too long without talking to her she will slowly disappear but not on purpose. By total accident really, she just accidently forgets about reality and slowly drifts off.
