Hello and Spooky Season Greetings fellow collab writers, and role players! I am TransientPoet. The name has little meaning other that a username that just popped up in my head moments before joining!

I am old enough to know what a rotary wheel telephone is, so if I ask if you wish to collab on a story and you feel I am too old, I won’t be offended if you say no. With that in mind. I have a number of years of experience in writing, I would say I am fairly good at it. I would even say I’m exceptionally well endowed on the art form!

My writing style, I’d like to say is very pointed and direct. I don’t add a lot of fluff or filler to drag something on unnecessarily. I won’t simmer in a spot in a paragraph and paint it purple to death describing the process of whatever the characters are doing.

For forum style writing, I enjoy the idea that every post has a dramatic impact or mark in the story. When you read it, I want you to feel the ‘wow’ factor, and have it drag you deeper into the soul of what I’m addressing in the context. Now, that’s the aim. I can’t say it will happen every time. Alas, alas, I hope you enjoy it and crave more.

I think this is a good start for an introduction. To truly know me, to feel my soul, to understand the complete circle… I suppose you’ll just have to keep your eyes peels for me in your DM Boxes!

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure! If you were looking for an open story you can just jump in straight away, you can find them in Unfinished Tales!​


Next, I've created A Sanctum Tour to help find a lot of cool places on site! There's plenty to do while waiting on replies or to give yourself a break every now and then! But, these are some of my favorites! The first shout out goes to The Sanctum Tavern! Here you can find many a thing! By the Hearth can be found there and has many wonderful discussions; my personal favorite is where everyone talks up their writing partners! Want to see some cute pets or share your own?
