About Me
I've been doing play-by-post roleplaying intermittently for 15 years. I started on the Bethesda Forums back when I was 13 years old--that was back in the TES 3: Morrowind days. I've grown a lot since then, and my writing has evolved with me. I enjoy several different roleplaying games, as well as, reading fantasy, GameLit/LitRPG, and occasionally SciFi.
I prefer to RP in mostly fantasty-esque settings, but I also like a little Steampunk or SciFi. I rarely do Slice of Life roleplays.
Life is hectic for me at times. I'll always try my best to post replies, but sometimes my muse eludes me or I'll be so stressed with RL stuff that I can't bring myself to post. I'll try to let you know beforehand if I have to be away for a while. I expect the same from you.
Partner Expectations
1.) Collaboration - Don't take this mean you have to run everything by me before you write it--in fact, that would be tedious and boring. Just work with me to shape the general direction of the plot.
2.) Personal Messages - If you're interested in a roleplay puh-leeeaze contact me via PM--not by replying to this thread. You can then likely expect some heavy plotting via PMs before we actually begin the roleplay.
3.) The Loop - Keep in the loop about if you're going to be gone, can't post, or cannot continue a RP. I'll try to do the same. I won't hold grudges.
4.) Post Length - Two to three paragraphs is my accepted standard when it comes to replies. Sometimes, I'll do more--especially for openings, and you may do more. Occasionally, I might do one to two paragraphs if there is a lot of interaction required. I expect my partners to put in the same amount of effort that I do.
5.) Grammar, Punctuation, & Spelling - I'm not an English Professor. I make mistakes, but I do try to keep my posts legible. I expect my partners to do the same.
6.) The Do's & Don'ts - As far as smut goes, I try to keep an open mind, so it's hard for me to draw a definite line of what's cool and what's not. A couple of hard DON'Ts are: toilet-play and age-play. The best thing to do is ask me via PM if some sexual act is okay or not. I'll do the same with you.
The Smut Meter
[++++]
I've devised my own little way to rate how much smut I'd like to see in a roleplay. Is it pretty cool or just anal? Whatever. I'm doing it anyway. Let's go over it! An blue plus indicates that the Smut Level is somewhere on the brink between the current level and previous level.
[++++] - Smut Level Zero
Smut Level Zero means I have absolutely no desire or inclination to involve smut in the plot.
[++++] - Smut Level One
Smut Level One means that I don't really want smut in the plot, but I'm okay with it if it happens.
[++++] - Smut Level Two
At Smut Level Two I can swing both ways. Smut isn't a primary interest in the plot, but it's not unwelcome either.
[++++] - Smut Level Three
This is a hard YES to smut. It' expected. It's possibly even integral to the plot.
[++++] - Smut Level Four
The plot is either almost entirely smut-driven or, at least, very dependent on smut.
[++++] - Smut Level Three - Four
This is an example of the "blue plus" being used in the Smut Meter. In this example, I want the roleplay to be at a Smut Level Three (3 green pluses), but I'm also okay with it being a Level 4. Hope that clarifies some things!

✔ Into the Unknown
Genre: GameLit/LitRPG & High Fantasy
Pairing: MxF
Preferred Role: Male
Smut Meter: [++++]
The dreaded Cursed Mark has appeared on the back of [our characters'] right hands. The mark appears at random, and once it appears the Cursed have one week until they disappear from Earth. Nobody is quite sure what happens to the Cursed, but it's been theorized that they are transported to another world.
[Our characters'] immediately seek support from a Cursed Support Group when they discover the Cursed Mark. It is here that they meet and begin to prepare to make a journey to another world.
I'm very malleable on what this other world will be like, but I definitely want it to be LitRPG oriented, and there has to be magic. Otherwise, we can discuss it more in PMs.

Assimilate
Genre: Steampunk, Fantasy, & SciFi
Pairing: MxF
Preferred Role: Male

The year is 1875. Five years previous, an host of aliens invaded Earth and started the War for Humanity. The aliens brought with them extremely advanced technology that the native humans of Earth have been partially capable of dissecting and assimilating into their own technologies. The most remarkable technology the aliens brought with them was the Mana Core, a device that stores massive amounts of ethereal energy that can be used to alter reality. Though unable to channel mana directly from the Mana Cores, humans have devised many technologies that can utilize the energy like Mana Gloves, Golems, and other various Constructs.
Not really sure where the plot is going with this one, but this setting kinda came to me, and I was like, "I'll throw it out there and see if anyone bites."

Dogfighters
Genre: High Fantasy
Pairing: MxF
Preferred Role: Male

Two armies oppose each other on the battlefield, waging war against one another. As the ground turns red with the blood of both armies, an overzealous wizard casts a spell that completely obliterates everything within a 5 mile radius. Our characters, a Griffin Chevalier and a Wyvern Knight, managed to escape the worst of the blast, but they and their trusted mounts are injured. Though enemies, perhaps they could work together long enough to survive and care for their companions.

✔ The Sacred Arts
Genre: High Fantasy/Eastern Influences
Pairing: MxF
Preferred Role: Male

In the world of Pangu, magic exists in the form of the Sacred Arts, which is based upon the philosophy of the Endless Path, no matter how skilled or strong one becomes there is always another step they take to push themselves to even greater heights and self-improvement.
To begin learning the Sacred Arts, one must begin to learn controlling one's chi, the spiritual energy that flows through all living beings. In order to cultivate chi, one must form a core of chi at the center of one's being and then absorb the vital energy, called Aura, of one's surroundings in order to grow their core. As the core grows, the body begins producing chi to fill it, naturally, meaning that it is possible to replenish chi passively for Sacred Artists, though it can be done more quickly by entering a meditative state and actively absorbing and purifying the Aura of one's surroundings.
After a Sacred Artist has formed a core, s/he has an important decision to make: What Path of the Sacred Arts will s/he follow? A Path focuses on a single Aspect, which is a essentially an element that is formed from a single or multiple Auras. Sacred Artists cultivate this Aspect by absorbing and cycling specific Auras into their core. Over time, their core takes on that Aspect, and the Sacred Artist has developed a Path. Examples of Paths are the Path of the Living Flame, the Path of Dreams, and the Path of the Endless Sword.
Do I have a specific plot for this? Nope. But do I have a lot of inspiration for developing this "magic" system? You bet your ass, I do. This system is heavily influenced by Will Wight's Cradle series, though I don't intend this to be a fan-fic. I'm just hoping to adapt this very Eastern-style of "magic" into a system that I can use in a roleplay. If anyone is interested in working on this with me, please PM me. :D

✔ Dungeon Masters
Genre: Fantasy/World Builder
Pairing: MxF
Preferred Role:
Smut Meter: [++++]
Two thieves have captured a great treasure from the Royal Vaults of Myridia. Or so they thought. The treasure they stole appears to be nothing more than a common ruby—nothing worth risking the wrath of the kingdom for. Desperate to escape the clutches of the Royal Guard, the duo hide out in an abandoned cavern. In a fury one the characters throws the gem on the floor of the cave, cracking it. As they stare at their broken prize in dejection and horror a prompt appears before their eyes: "You have created a dungeon. Would you like to become the master(s) of this dungeon?"
Much world-building, plotting, scheming, and fun awaits the person bold enough to show interest in this plot. While details can always be changed and improved, the gist of this plot is that our characters will be able magically create and alter a dungeon and fill it with monsters. Anyone thinking of showing interest must be capable of playing multiple characters, though the majority of these characters will be minor characters (adventurers looking to challenge the dungeon and the mobs within the dungeon).
As I said, there will be hefty amount of plotting and world-building in this role play. I advise those who do not like to plot or expand worlds to skip over this.
