I am hoping to pick up one or two roleplays in which I play Bucky Barnes, AKA the Winter Soldier.
I'll specifically be playing him post-winter soldier-ification. Whether still with HYDRA or shortly after making an escape. I don't have any strong preferences beyond that! I'm open to anything. I will be playing MCU Bucky, possibly with comic influences but comic knowledge is not at all required from you.
For sort of an idea of what i'm into, I generally prefer angsty plots with an emphasis on hurt/comfort, involving plenty of Bucky struggling with his memory, his actions, his trauma, etc. This can involve Y/C as well of course, I don't expect Bucky to have the spotlight, just letting you know what I enjoy writing.
I also typically enjoy throwing in some romance. I will be honest, RPs without romance included are difficult to keep my attention unless it's like.. a REALLY interesting plot, you know? I cannot change this, it's just my preference. That being said, I prefer MxM. I'm really picky about MxF. I'm not ruling it out, but Y/C would actually have to be really interesting and compelling/fitting, y'know? Also open to non-binary characters, of course, but it's a similar toss up to MxF. CanonxOC or CanonxCanon, either is fine.
I don't have any specific plot ideas at the moment, unfortunately. Just a desire to write the character, lol.
Below you can find my rules/guidelines. There is one thing I need to add for right now in particular, though. Due to garnering a lot of interest for another RP idea I posted, I have ~9 roleplays currently going. The reply rate is different for all of them so it's not too overwhelming, I just want whoever is interested to be aware of this, because it can definitely affect how quickly I respond. This sort of warning is in my guidelines too, but it goes double for this particular point in time and I just wanted to point that out.
If interested, please feel free to PM me with any ideas or characters you may have, and we can take it from there. Also, happy 2019! :)

Before you message me, some things you should know:
- Understand I am EXTREMELY flexible, and willing to change or ignore any parts of canon in favor of having a fun, fulfilling RP. I don't take it too seriously. We're here for a good time, not to follow the MCU to a T. I pretty much end up disregarding the movies after CA:TWS when I roleplay Bucky, so you'll have to be okay with twisting some canon, and be open to my personal interpretation.
-I am 18 years old. I don't really mind if my rp partner has a significant age gap, but I like to know how old they are anyways. I also figure some people may not want to write with someone as young as me, which is fine.
-I'm okay with writing smut, but it can't be the central focus and I prefer to discuss it beforehand.
-I'm a multi-paragraph to novella roleplayer. I believe that we should follow the ebb and flow of the writing; if the scene calls for a paragraph even though we may have been doing multiple paragraphs this whole time, then just write a paragraph! And if we've been doing short replies, but suddenly you're struck with inspiration and write 3 pages of words, I promise you won't scare me off.
-Please be a collaborative person! I like to discuss plot and such OOC. Obviously not ironing out every detail, but I need a little direction to write properly, and I just like to talk about what's happening in the rp just for fun. We don't have to be BFFs or anything but I do like to be friendly with my rp partners in general and sometimes chat OOC, even about things not having to do with the RP.
-Please have some understanding that I can be busy and also that I am mentally ill, and if my illness acts up I can't reply as often as I like. I aim for once a day, but sometimes it can become once a week or even once a month. If my replies become so spacious you no longer wish to write with me that is completely fine, just be aware going into this that it may happen.
-Romance is something I pretty much like to include in all my rps, but it's something I like to have alongside an engaging plot as well. I like to have the plot bring the characters closer together and basically just have it all go together.
-Many of my characters have undergone trauma or have dark things in their past (or present!). For example, my version of Bucky Barnes has probably been sexually abused/raped at some point during his long stay with HYDRA. I mean, c'mon, they're HYDRA. I just find it unrealistic to think that would not have happened to him, among other traumatic things. You must be okay with this. It's not some sort of fetish for me or something- far from it. It's just how I play the character. Rest assured I am not speaking out of my ass; I have had traumas in my past as well, hence incorporating it into my characters.
-Above all, I appreciate honesty. If the rp is just not working out, just say so. I won't be mad. If you didn't like my reply, i'm happy to re-write it as long as you have a valid reason and tell me what's wrong with it. If you don't like a character, that's okay they don't have to be included. Just please be totally honest with me. If you don't like an idea I broached, just let me know. I love partners who have the same passion I do about the story and the characters. If you find yourself trudging along to do your next reply, just tell me, we don't have to write together anymore! I will be glad you were honest!
