Welcome to my little corner of the forum! Creating characters and stories has been part of my life since I can remember though I never was good at actually putting words to paper. Then I discovered written role play in college and a whole new world opened up for me. So now, I am here, making new friends, plotting adventures and bringing characters to life.
When I am not writing, you can generally find me lurking in chat, playing video games, watching anime, or hanging out with my dogs.
COFFEE HOT OR COLD
In terms of a writing partner, I do like someone who is equally excited to plot, world build and really develop their character. To me, the plot and characters are fluid and we should follow where the story takes us instead of forcing it to follow a set path. We are not writing the worlds greatest novel so tropes, cliches, and general "what ifs" are what makes RP fun.
As far as my own style of writing goes, I write in 3rd person past tense and generally do a couple paragraphs each post. Though I have been known to write over 1K words before, it is generally when there is an action scene or we are dropping a lot of lore into the story. As for my partner, as long as you give me something to work with, I do not care about post lengths.
As for reply times, it will vary for me. If the muse is strong, I can crank out a reply daily or sometimes twice a day. If the muse is not strong, then it may be a few days before I get a reply out. We are all adults with busy lives so I expect a reply from you when you are able to give me a reply. I would rather wait a couple of days for an inspired post than a uninspired post. However, I fear that my muse does wane when weeks go by without a reply so the more frequent the reply, the more plots and world building I will be able to crank out.
SPECIALTY DRINKS
My favorite worlds are ones that me and my partner create. Where we create from the ground up or tweak an established world to fit our needs. I will write in fandom sometimes but it needs to be an expansive world that has a lot of options and flexibility. I only write original characters and tend to create the character for the particular story that we are doing. I play all genders and am open to having multiple characters in a story if it works out. I have found some stories just require NPCs to move the plot along and some stories end up getting multiple main characters that all get their own plot lines.
Genre wise, I am most comfortable in fantasy or modern world with supernatural elements thrown in. I can do sci fi but I do not consume a lot of media in that genre so my plot ideas may be a little stunted in that category. One genre that I do not enjoy is historical unless we are really really lax with the accuracy. I like being able to make the world my own and not having to stick to a set timeline.
As for pairs, I play all genders and do all pairs including poly relationships. I do love queer stories so most of my characters will be some flavor of gay.

In terms of topics and plots, I am pretty open to mostly anything that is allowed on the site. In fact, I prefer imperfect characters over a character who can do no wrong. In regards to sensitive topics, I require that we treat them with respect. It can get gritty but I do not want to cross the line into fetishization.
TINY BITES & CAKE
For me, smut is like cake (See what I did there?). Fun and enjoyable to write but not necessarily a requirement. Honestly, my barometer for smut is if the characters have chemistry and it is natural for them to do so. In terms of kinks, I do not have a set list. Each character is different and their kinks will be adjusted according to them. There are a few that I won't do such as graphic sexual assault, incest, or watersports. This can be discussed more in depth as we plot.

Being a street orphan, he was consider lucky to be apprenticed to an automail mechanic and not forced to work in a factory or for a gang. He was a quiet soul, content to keep to himself and fix items for customers. While the gangs fought and the rich ruled, he tried to keep his head down. For he had a secret, one that could get him in trouble. He loved men, even had opened his heart to another. But tragedy struck and he learned that the world did not accept him for who he was. Thus, he was intent to keep his head down and never let another person in.

The world of Rylin Glendale was small. Having committed a murder, he had been thrown into the coliseum, a prison where teams were encouraged to kill each other for points and rewards. There was no escape but Rylin was going to die on his feet so he become one of the coliseum premier fighters. He never thought about the future or anything could change. But then one day, rebels breached the coliseum and suddenly, he was thrown into a world of revolution. Would his skills aid him in the coming fight or would he die finally free?
