In a medieval world, some jobs are a lot weirder than ones in other worlds. Character A, for example, lives their life as a traveling, vigilante sorcerer/sorceress that travels from town to town to aid them. The town has a dragon problem? Goblin raids in the night? Possibility of a witch stealing everyone's kids? Backed up plumbing? Character A handles it all; not exactly with the brightest of attitudes, but not exactly to the rudest levels. In their spare time, A searches for magical means to provide themselves things to live a non-nomadic lifestyle. No longer would A have to rely on going to town to town for money, when they could stay in one place and enjoy life. So when another town complains to them, A goes in believing it'll be another casual job.

Character B is also a vigilante hero...or at least, they like to think are. Pulling off daring heists in multiple towns and kingdoms, B is a very wealthy, highly trained theif that usually passes off some of his conquests to the poorest of the poor and then moves on to steal from some other kingdom. With their fame spreading, they're able to occasionally to stretch the truth about themselves for popularity. Fought a Hydra? Choked out an Ogre? Rods a Wyvern into battle? Resisted Siren songs? Beaten someone in Tic Tac Toe with their eyes closed? Character B has done all of those things, and they celebrate those outlandish feats with regular trips to safe, secluded Taverns. It seems nothing could possibly go wrong for B...

...until Character A bursts in fearfully, forcibly recruiting B for a plan. Apparently the town was deserted when A arrived to help, and evidence at the scene hinted that an ageless Eldritch being is starting to seep into the world to devour whole civilizations. Apparently the only thing able to drive it back is the Ancient Staff of Luna and its untapped power. All B has to do is lead A through the F'Bunti forest--three day's worth of uninhabited forestry, creatures known and unknown and the nearly unkillable being chasing them every step of the way.

But it's fine. B said they've been through the forest dozens of times, and they have no reason to lie about that kind of thing, right?

More plots:

Road Trip: A and B have grown up together ever since high school, and share an apartment in their present day college lives. However, over the years, A has noticed that they have steadily grown farther and farther apart as close friends to mere acquaintances and fears that once they finish college, B will no longer care about A. In a bid to reignite their deteriorating friendship, A plans a wacky road trip for the two of them to go on and hopefully become close again. Obviously, it has potential for a tad bit of humor, but also dark themes and such for those who crave it, depending on how you create and play the character for this. Also, probably going to involve romance.

Tour Guide: After a dangerous ship wreck en route to a zoo in New York, A young tiger cub is washed up on the beaches of Africa and quickly becomes lost in the mainland of this bizarre, scorching world. A young lion cub, forced away from his pride, ends up running into the tiger cub by chance and reluctantly agrees to help the mysterious striped feline survive in the wild lands of Africa. When other African predators, climate troubles and poachers look on the horizon, the tiger and lion cub must work together to stay alive. Also possibility of romance and dark themes!

Verbal Essence:
A is a depressed individual, with a very low social status and only acquaintances, never actual friends. As a suggestion for the first step in getting of their shell, A's therapist suggests that an animal companion might be helpful relieving their stress and anything bad that comes with said stress. Reluctantly, A goes to adopt a young pet (B) and also buys a black candle from strange old woman who A is sure is swindling them. A lights the candle at home and, while the smell isn't anything special, it does wonders for their pet.

In the sense that, suddenly their pet can talk and think on par with humans. Now A must try to navigate a lifestyle of caring for a talking and keeping their sanity intact.

I'm open to playing the verbally empowered pet or the poor unfortunate soul who owns the pet! This will involve some humor, obviously, but will also involve dark, angsty elements on either side of the roleplay--so if you're interested in things of that caliber, please send me PM and we can discuss it!

Rain Check: It's a grey, rainy evening for A, the uptight and very busy artist making a trip via train to a rural landscape in ode to deliver their art to a buyer. After getting off the train alongside a single passenger at a station, the two come to find that they will be waiting six hours for their next train to come get them. Despite knowing very little about A's social awkwardness, B opts that they explore the city nearby the station. Clearly a romance play, and open to f/f or M/f pairings with this.

Barks and Bites: A never really thought many other monsters existed other than the hordes of the Undead, especially when they effortlessly tore down the infrastructure of the world as they knew it. Anything else was just from a bunch of old movies that people wouldn't have remembered before the end of the planet. But upon investigating mysterious noises in the midst of an abandoned mall, A comes to discover B--a real life, highly sarcastic werewolf that has somehow managed to survive the dead-infested world as long as A has.

When you wish upon an Attractive Djinn:
A doesnt recall the day she became a Genie, but she assumes it was millennia ago. Or maybe more? Again, she isn't sure. But it's definitely been more than a decade since that fateful day. There isn't enough space inside her lamp to make the tally marks, so she just has to guess how long its been since she was summoned by that one greasy old king. Boy, what a chump--he used all ten of his wishes in one day, that greedy ball of lard! At least the emperor before him took a day and half to exhaust all his wishes.

In any case, she'd become convinced that her lamp has been thrown to the depths of a bottomless ocean, or sealed beneath hardened magma from a volcanic eruption--never to be seen again or even used again. Such a fate might be enough to drive someone insane with fear and isolation, but she'd long since grown bored with being insane and...well, there was no reason for her to fear isolation. Not when all her masters were completely antisocial towards her--not even bothering to ask about her wellbeing before using their wishes. Better to enjoy her loneliness than spend a few minutes in the company of a greedy, filthy soul.

But apparently, her destiny wasn't to spend the rest of eternity in a jar, but to be found in the twenty first century by--a world that A is going to have a rough time readjusting to--by a luckless young woman who hasn't a living clue what to do with a hot, half naked Genie. (I'm open to playing either role! F/F)

Leather Wings in the Stars: A just wanted to have some semblance of a normal pife. Being a vampire didn't leave her with a good chance of that happening, but she knew that other vampires had ways of getting close to a normal lifestyle and being happy with themselves. Why was she the unlucky one? Why was she the one who had to go and get abducted by Aliens who were going to sacrifice her to some Cthulu rip off? Why did she have to be saved by a space pirate in exchange for her services? Why couldn't this be a fever dream?

The Eyes have It: Medusa [A] was content with being alone for the rest of her life, a roaming nomad in a chaotic Greek landscape. While people knew she was only a danger if you provoked her ire and was otherwise a harmless grump, she knew that no one would waste their time trying to get to know who she was behind the living snake hair and the petrifying eyes. But then, along came this goody two shoes blind woman--a demigoddess who could actually do a lot of remarkable things despite her impaired vision--asking for Medusa's aid against a rising danger. Eh, what the heck?

If interested, I would love to discuss more with you about it! Honestly oodn do M/F or F/F with this one, and ideas you have add to the plot!
