MxF Dark Romance Sought (but not the standard cliches associated with it)

Groetjes! I’m an extremely experienced writer and vampire aficionado (read: nerd) living in Europe but born across the way. I love mysteries, horror, and dark slice of life stories, and I’m very psychological in mindset. I love Silent Hill, and I'm obsessed with watching Blood on the Clocktower playthroughs as well as Betrayal: Legacy; I've considered making the last of those into an actual group RP, even.

I write female characters for male characters, but I despise cliches and stereotypes. If you’re not into very “typical” relationship dynamics but still like FxM pairings, fantastic. Here are a few examples of dynamics I enjoy:

• Enemies to lovers, like a slightly eldritch vampire and the vengeful hunter who thinks she killed his family when he was a child. (I do have a detailed prologue for that concept, and it’s an idea I love, with heavy VtM vibes. A sexy cat and mouse game with undercurrents of trauma and deep emotion.)
• Older female/younger male: that's obviously slice of life in most instances, however, for me this also covers dynamics where your elf is young “for an elf” and my human is in her 30s-50s, even if he’s hundreds of years older. Or maybe they're the same age, but she's sheltered and he's surly and scarred from a hard life spent dodging human oppression. Or maybe he's a vampire who died at 20, so she's confused by someone who looks like he could be her son acting like he could be her grandpa. I love odd little unexpected details like that which throw characters for a loop or create tension.
• Curvy short woman/lean-muscled to outright scrawny man. I like the mix of the man being taller and stronger or uh, gifted (traditional) yet being sort of visually fragile in a subtle, elegant way (atypical in fiction for male leads.) I like the contrast with the woman being sort of sexy and feminine in a way that is usually "awarded" to beefy male heroes, but at the same time not leggy or statuesque or petite; more sturdy. So in short, slightly more subtle masculinity paired with an overtly feminine gentle strength. And if that sounds kind of switchy... well, yes, but whether I'd favor one side or enjoy them turning the tables on one another depends entirely on the individual characters and their chemistry.
• Emotionally wounded man with an overactive amygdala/compassionate woman able to soothe paranoia and create a safe place, especially if there are significant obstacles in the circumstances. I like the challenge of getting someone traumatized to think differently about healing themselves, and I find it emotionally rewarding to write.
• Scorching hot, torturous slow burns... and I don't mind if they're less so as long as the progression feels right and sane.
• Erotic content which develops NATURALLY. NATURALLY. Stressing this too much has seldom been enough so far.
• Spooky or mysterious story backdrops; moody and cinematic vibes. Agatha Christie is awesome.

And here’s what I hate:

• Cliched BookTok-style man-doms who are just bad people. Christian Grey puts me to sleep.
• Sub characters who treat women as fetish dispensers.
• “Our characters met two hours ago, looks like it’s shove his face in her pants o’clock!” (Seen that way too much.)

My reply length varies. My writing schedule varies, but Monday and Friday are usually pretty free for me. I’m difficult to shock, but my own kinks are weird--not freaky, just weird. Swedish addressed to me aloud, murmurs in a deep voice, emotional intimacy, flat torsos, and male beauty that doesn’t really fit the archetype labeled “femboy” but definitely qualifies for androgyny. (Mm, Alucard.) I love nerds, I love overly emotional male characters (and I do NOT mean angry or jealous only; I mean the type who can’t stop himself from crying because he’s a deep feeler, even if he’s mad or insecure about it.) And I love tinges of fucked-up qualities with mitigating factors involved; like, I’d gladly write a female vampire who lures men into alleyways and kills them if they try to assault her. I’d enjoy writing about a lady being stalked by someone who feels guilty about what he’s doing who essentially has good motives and genuinely wants to help her, or if he’s more twisted then I’d enjoy the same but with the twist of her being a vampire--so he gets what he wanted, but it terrifies him. (I like vampire stories. Sorry if that comes as a complete shock.)

My limits are pretty sane. Nothing grossly unsanitary or weirdly violent. And I don't care about your traits IRL; as long as you know how male anatomy functions enough to write your character believably, we're good.

I do write in some fandoms; I like the Avengers, for instance. Would love to write a Scarlet Witch-style character, but I’d be into Loki, not Thor. Supernatural’s a fun universe to play in. I’m crazy about VtM. I enjoyed a lot of TWD until a certain character died who didn't in the comics. The Witcher/Dragon Age are so delicious for male elf/human woman pairings. Aside from the vampire/hunter story, I also have ideas for a human falling victim to a pair or even gang of elves and having to politick her way into their good graces despite the tensions between their races.
