Hello and welcome! I have a both a character and an unrelated, vague idea that I'm currently itching to write and wanted to give them their own space.

[[CHARACTER]]
I'd love to write something with my character Kass. I played Fear & Hunger and wanted to write a character who was a shadow of themselves. He is an ex soldier turned mercenary, who has seen and done some terrible things. His history is deliberately vague enough that any curses he has sustained and demons that flow him, can be either literal or figurative.

He's a character for a grimdark world, but open to happy endings. Romance entirely optional (but if wanted, I'd probably prefer a femme love interest). Plots I've discussed with people before have usually either been redemption arcs of descents into madness/giving in to evil.

If you want to save or further torture my boy, let me know and let's brew a delightfully dark tale.

[[PLOT?]]

I had a weirdly half coherent (but also mad) dream the other night that could? Maybe? Have a basis for a story? I feel like there were some interesting themes, at least.

In a text to a friend, because it is hard to explain dreams:
From what I can remember, there were orcs? Goblins? I dunno, monsters who enslaved and ate humans trying to invade the human realms. The closest human kingdom (very Egyptian esque?) formed an alliance with them; kind of, we'll help you invade other human kingdoms in return for not killing us? Then in the far West, the seat of human power, the humans are ruled by some sort of magical higher class? Think they were vampires at one point, wizards at another, I don't know, dreams make no sense. They were trying to ignore the threat on the far borders because?? Capitalism, probably? And then this one character, last of his particular type of vampire/wizard/whatever, he had some sort of power to shapeshift? Everyone thought he was dead but he came down from his manor in the mountains or whatever to try and get them to do something about the monsters? And everyone said no, so he was like, fuck it, and went on a one man mission to assassinate the queen of the desert country with some rando picked up from the streets.

This is by no means a fully fleshed out plot and only has makes sense, but I was really like to build something from this. I'd like to play the shapeshifting lord, who was called Maverick in my head (not sticking with it) and a plot twist was he was a trans man (I am sticking with it).
