|| Hey there, if you've made it to this thread then you obviously have some interest or at the very least are curious. You can call me Dagny. I'm a veteran writer and role player; specifically speaking, I lean more towards the novella side of storytelling, which usually complicates or intimidates some people, but rest assured I am adaptable and just want to have fun. I am always looking to learn and vibe with different personalities, tend to be very chill, and am willing to create entire universes with the people who approach me if we find a middle ground of interest. I do have writing samples available by request, first and third person, just for an idea of the type of writing I offer.
|| As I have said on my profile, I return the same energies I am given. The only thing I ask is that you try, show up, and do not waste my time, as I am a mother of two special needs children, and they will always come first, so be warned: time constraints are taken seriously. Other than these few things, I am an open book that loves perspective and deep conversation. Morning times are always my prime areas for writing and creating, so you'll find me available then on most days, but that does not restrict me from posting or responding through the rest of the day if it is needed. Hopefully I haven't lost you by now, so... let's do this!
WRITING PREFERENCES, DESIRES AND EXPECTATIONS
I am extraordinarily good at writing the dark and villainous roles; I suppose it is just in my blood, to be honest. I do not have to play a character that is looking for complete ruin or chaos, but the willingness and enjoyment of it is there. I take delight in the quiet and shy roles that involve developmental or mental flaws, ending in stalker or borderline dangerous obsession vibes. I am a sucker for the supernatural roles such as Lycan, Vampire, Devil, or other (which can be discussed, obviously). I am fine with modern and medieval, post-apocalyptic, or the Viking age (I love that genre personally), but that would need to be threaded out in discussion.
Writing length varies by player, but I do prefer lengthier posts; I tend to be a hard hitter with post length but can tame it if required. This does not mean I am not willing to write with someone who shows interest but cannot provide that amount of writing; I am not an elite prick lol. I love to learn others' writing skills and weaknesses while offering a comfort zone to people still getting their fins wet. This isn't about dominion or overpowering someone; it's about storytelling and doing it together as a team.
I love bad boys, I love violence, and have no limits to things that can happen to my character so long as it is realistically plausible (depending on if they are supernatural or not, obviously) and as long as it follows the owner's guidelines. The reality is if I step a character into a realm of dangerous things, bad things can and will happen; I am not a whiner or complainer in that regard, and it is very much so an open canvas of possibilities. No, I don't have some pain fetish (kinda do but lmao) I just know realistically characters cannot always come out on top; scars happen, bad memories and traumas can take place, and that is factually what builds your character, not weaving through life conflict unscathed.
Religion and Politics are two roads I do not discuss outside of writing, so I respectfully ask it not to come up if we happen to chat. Ideally, I game and write to get away from all of that, as I have far too much stress IRL to have to deal with it in the time I do have to create and write. I do not judge, nor care about any stances. I am just here to write. I hope you understand, thanks!
As far as my thoughts on sexual content, it happens, sometimes often, and it all varies depending on the characters. I am not shy; in fact, I might just blow your mind a little in that department, but I want the story to have structure and depth. I am a megalodon in that regard. If I feel like the context of the writing is simply and only enjoyed for its sexual content, I won't be as interested in carrying on. Do I mind smut? Nah, not at all, but I want to know that is what you are looking for from the get-go to see if I am interested in your concept or pitch. My limits sit with the site rules: no toilet stuff, no kids, but ask and we can discuss it, because if I try to list everything I like, I will be here all damn day XD Yes, all damn day!
The only fandom-style writing I have done revolved around Red Sonja, and I worked my ass off on her writing for someone I deeply cared about. But I am open to ideas, so feel free to bring them to my attention, and we can discuss them! I am not necessarily opposed to the idea of playing any famous wild roles; I have just always forged my own characters on the spot and rolled with it. I will say, though, a Silent Hill storyline is one I have always wanted to dabble with! Any takers, hit me up!
PERSPECTIVE IS EVERYTHING
Where your comfort zone ends is where living and experience begins. This is one of my primary thought processes for adapting to new stories, character types, and forging new adventures. I will work out some plot ideas to post below, and in the meantime, if you have interest thus far, send me a message and let's see what we can work out.

[x An art curator acquires several new pieces for his personal gallery, only to be exposed to the cursed reality living inside the detailed art, and who or what created them.
