Looking for people to fill out key positions on a Manticorian Minitour Class Carrier outfitted to carry out special operations. The setting will be 50T years after Book 14 of the Honorverse Series, Toll of Honor.
The plot of the story is discovering among increasingly organized pirate activities the Alignment presence is discovered again. Then it becomes once more and investigative race to uncover the Alignment and their new base of operations before they can introduce catastrophic loss to the Star Empire in the Talbott quadrant.
The proposed ship I envision to be much like the U.S.S. Kittyhawk was at the end of her career and be a platform with a special operations role in mind. She will have a small escort fleet as the threat she is up against would not require a fleet of ships of the wall, but such resources are available if at some point we as players want to write an epic space battle with the players picking a ship type in the fleet and writing their actions in the conflict. Looking to see if there are other David Weber fan out there to give this a shot and write about the next generation of RMN officers in this conflict which died down but never went away.
Keep in mind this will not take into account events in To End in Fire. I did not want to write up a completely new enemy so the Messan Alignment is still very much a threat and would have grown in the last 50T years. Let me know if you have questions.
