For those of you curious, I don't mind sharing a little about myself: I'm fairly musically inclined, majored in musical theatre, and have (somewhat) recently started to release my very own music! I've been roleplaying for the better part of twelve years and making music even longer, so I'd like to think I'm somewhat competent at them, at the very least. I would also like to think I'm reasonably flexible when it comes to this whole thing - I'm not picky about much. As long as we're both having fun and being respectful of one another, I'm a happy girl. I try to adjust my writing to my partner's to some degree, just to make things flow a little easier! I suppose I'll get into a few of my tendencies and preferences as a role-player.
I can play fellas on occasion, and I have, but I'm at my most comfortable playing lovely ladies and girls with sweet dispositions. I consider myself open to many ideas, though I ask that we refrain from writing out graphic descriptions of gore. I've been known to let my partners go nuts with it on occasion, as I don't have any place or desire to control creativity, but I personally cannot do it well. I'm alright with writing sex and kink, although I've grown to be quite selective with who I write it with, and I think we'll have to really click well for me to feel completely comfortable delving into those particular topics. I'd also prefer it if it wasn't the main subject of the RP!
I have a particular fondness for fantasy, historical settings, and nice, drawn out romances, although I must emphasize my interest in fantasy lies largely in political intrigue and slice of life elements rather than adventure stories. I don't mind plotting out dynamics and relationships, but I also really enjoy discovering natural chemistry between characters and building off of that. I do write for several fandoms, but the list is rather long; if you have a fandom you're itching to try out, feel free to shoot me a message-- I may have heard of it. Most of my fandoms are anime and video games, with maybe the occasional TV show, film, or book series thrown in. I know that's vague, but the list is seriously too long.
As far as my response length and schedule, I try to maintain consistency, but as with all of us life sometimes gets in the way. I will always give you a heads up if something comes up and I'm unable to reply or log on, and though I'd appreciate one in return I understand motivation isn't always there for things like that, and sometimes you're just unable to. I won't pressure you for responses. I also am not too picky with reply length; I'll usually try to match to you, if I have the motivation/capacity to!
As I mentioned before, I'm rather open to ideas and I believe any story can work with the right partners and enough interest. I have ideas here and there, all of which I am willing to elaborate on should anything interest you. That being said, I am also perfectly willing to discuss just about anything you present to me!
One hand, one heart. - I have toyed with this idea for a while now and obviously there are points open for discussion and elements are subject to change, but the story is primarily centered on two characters whose souls (or spirits, or some other intangible thing) are bound by what you might call fate or the universe, or some higher power-- these are details we can discuss should we decide we need to. This connection needn't necessarily be a romantic one, although I am more than happy to take that route. For reasons unknown to them, which discovering I imagine would be an interesting venture for them to embark on, their paths are destined to cross and lead to the same end. It's a little vague, but there are details and such that can be agreed on later, or we can do this organically and see where the story leads.
I may update this whenever I get more ideas, but if you think any of this interests you, let me know. Thanks for reading! ♡
