Hello,

Allow me to begin by thanking you for taking the time to look at this post. As the title would suggest, I'm a tad (or so I would think) past my prime in the role-playing department. This post, other than my introduction, would have been my first use of a forum system in over fours years. As such, I decided to take some cues from a helpful post labeling what makes a decent request thread. Shall we begin?

'Ahem...'

What I look for in a partner, more than anything, is accountability. Life happens, and I understand that sentiment more than I should at my age. If possible, let me know before dropping off the face of the earth. If you don't, I won't be unkind, but I would be more reluctant to start up again.

I'm looking for someone who is comfortable with the English language, mistakes here and there are fine. I just don't want to feel like I'm texting my niece. I'd like as close to proper as we can get, so long as it's legible.

If you're bored, or feeling stagnated, I want you to let me know. It takes two to tango, and while I don't mind pressing the story. I would like your input as well.

As for plot-lines? It's been some time and quite frankly I have no idea what I'd prefer anymore. I do know some genres I've done in the past and enjoyed. Here's the list.

  • Sci-Fi
  • Fantasy
  • Thriller
  • Drama
  • Romance
  • Modern
  • Historical
  • Supernatural
  • - I guess just about anything?

I strictly prefer a male point of view for myself, however I can role-play with males and females alike. Romantically or not.

Post lengths are negotiable. I know that at some points in a story, it's difficult to write more than a few sentences. All I want to know is that effort is being put forwards. For example: if I see you write some magnificent hex-para post, and then turn around with one or two sentences for the remainder of the role-play. I might be inclined to find another partner.

Now, while I prefer story over everything. I do once in a while find myself on the opposing end of smut. I'll write it, but only if there is a story progression or character development attached. Senseless canoodling is a tad off my mark.

Truly Yours,

M. E. Diction
