A book is a magical thing that transports you from your world to any number of others. You've been reading since you were very young, since before little children typically learn to first read. Books are the great escape from the humdrum of life and give you something to look forward to while you plod your way through work or school or what have you. You're a common patron of libraries and bookstores, and after one particularly terrible day, you spot a new store on the corner on your way home. It's dark and tightly packed with stacks of books that threaten to teeter over when you brush past on your way back to the counter. An old man in a comfortable cardigan greets you with a smile a little too warm, a little too knowing.
"Looking for something new to read?"
You peruse the collection, fingers ghosting along faded, well-loved spines. You read titles you've never heard of, in languages you think might be considered dead, and one catches your eye. A large book bound in rich brown leather with no title, only the emblem of a crown. Before you know it, the book falls open in your hands, revealing neatly-written script so small and tightly scratched you have to lean closer to read it. Closer and closer you lean, until it feels like you're falling, falling...

I'm a literate writer, I prefer posts of 300+ words with decent grammar and spelling. I'm not a hardass, but I prefer to be able to read your post without scratching my head due to bad syntax or constant typos. I'm in my 30s, so I'm looking for someone without a -teen appended to their age to play with, preferably someone at least 21 or older, cause I really just can't relate to younger crowds and it makes me feel like a creep to RP porn with anyone more than 10 years my junior.
