Top'a'da fuckin' evenin' to ya!
For the obligatory get to know you portion, here goes. I'm going to try and make it fairly brief as I just want to get to the juicy bits!
I've been writing for over a decade now, roleplaying to some degree for a good bit of that time. Not going to lie, it's been quite awhile since I've done this so I will be a bit rusty. As far as length goes, I tend to get carried away and can easily pump out 500+ words per response. This varies by necessity of course. I can write much more or a bit less depending on what's going on in our story. I want my partner to be able to do something similar, as I love having a lot to read. The juicier, the better! Again, sometimes 500+ words aren't necessary for a particular part. Genres? Fantasy (High Fantasy especially), Sci-Fi, Medieval, even a little Western. I can get into just about anything except Slice of Life - I'm sure their are some good and intriguing prompts out there I might love, but I have yet to find them.
Romance is a must for all of my roleplays. For now, I'm sticking with MxF, where I will be playing the female character. MxM and FxF I'm also open to, but I think I really just need to get my sea legs again. Trying not to bite off more than I can chew! Smut is perfectly good and I actually prefer our story have some in it, but I want to remain plot-focused for the most part. Sensuality and slow-burn are my absolute favorites, that build and anticipation. Things can even get a little more sexual quickly in a roleplay, but as long as we don't go too far too soon, all's good. Teasing is 100% alright with me!
I have a tendency toward darker themes. Violence, torture, dubious and non-consent. Don't get me wrong, I like the sweet stuff, too, but I always need a more mature touch in my stories.

In our world, we can decide just how much fantasy we want to include in this. Dragons and necromancers? Mages and magical potions? Or just a little sprinkle of magic here and there. Really, I'm just having a hankering for this dynamic, we can get into the nitty-gritty of it all in PM.
For this, I would be playing the princess. From an outside perspective, she will come off as well-mannered – especially in front of her parents, strict as they are. She will 100% save her brattiness for her guards or maids behind closed doors.
Sneaking around the castle after curfew, sneaking out of the castle itself (which is a huge no-no) and going beyond the wall, stealing treats away from the kitchens (her mother would severely disapprove considering how obsessed she was with her daughter's figure). She gets up to all kinds of trouble, most of which her newest addition to her personal guard would be unaware of when accepting the role initially.
For your character, the guard, I'm seeing someone who is stoic, dominant. A badass when needed. An older gentleman who had earned his way up to the Royal Guard. Not only that, but gained enough favor and trust from his commander (and furthermore, the king and queen) to get a position as a personal guard to the princess herself. It wouldn't be something that could be achieved overnight by any means, but something earned after years and years of loyalty and proving his worth. This just adds to the stakes.
OR! Your character could be a bit younger, closer to the age of the princess (who will be 21 years- ish). Maybe he got the position due to nepotism and, despite his skill (which he would still need to have), is still in way over his head. His father could be the Commander. This has a bit of charm to it as I can see him still being stoic, but being completely baffled by the princess and her antics. Having had one impression of her – that well-mannered side of her – it would be troubling, and tempting.

Gods are above deities, deities above mortals. Gods are immortal for all intents and purposes, deities are practically immortal as well (with a few weaknesses). We can discuss more types that could fall in between or outside of these as well. I want some blood-sucking in this one, as well. Maybe deities (not quite gods in this one) need to occasionally feed from other deities or mortals. Retractable fangs maybe? The blood of a God or deity may have its own healing properties, making it valuable to a mortal.
After the War of the Old Gods, what few deities were left were forced out of their lands – lands they helped the old Gods create. They found themselves regrouping in the wastelands, a place mortals dare not go, fractured and nearly powerless. The Gods chose who they favored more in this era, and it was not the lesser gods. It was mortals and their blind faith and worship.
Thus, the deities would be pissed, to say the least. Bitter. Vengeful. This hate would seep into their children and future generations.
Centuries later, the Gods are asleep as they become too wrathful and detached when they've been awake too long, and mortals have taken over practically every inch of usable land. What's worse is that they have vilified the deities – made them out to be these these evil, wicked, blood lusting monsters that were damned by the "true" Gods. The Queen and King that didn't age like the mortals they ruled, used fear and propaganda to control the masses. These lies about the deities being some of them, as well as using a puritanical approach to their teachings.
Rewriting history would be the least of their crimes.
Not every mortal believed them, especially those that lived farther from the crown.
In comes a young deity. Well, young for a deity, at least. Still a couple centuries old. Prince of his own people. He's pissed at the King and Queen of the mortal land – what used to be theirs – for all sorts of things. Capturing his people, torturing them, but what might drive him over the edge? The killing of a sibling, perhaps? A recent, particularly cruel massacre of his people, ordered by the crown?
Regardless, the Prince would leave home, his mother and father (Queen and King of their people). He would steal, murder, do whatever he had to do, as he now had a goal.
What better way to slight the crown than to steal away their precious princess? Their perfect little maiden?
So this deity, this prince of his people, bides his time. Works his way into the mortal army, proves his worth. Becomes one of the "youngest" to earn his way into the Royal Guard. He watches them all, how the royals operate. Skillfully, he takes out one of the princess' personal guards, positions himself to take over the role.
And, of course, he gets the role, giving him unfettered access to the sweet little thing he wanted to capture and ruin.
Basically, a coming war between two kingdoms. One, forgotten and discarded, left to rot (the deities). The other, as "blessed" by the Gods as they were riddled with lies.
We can talk details in PM!

Basically we will have our own alien races, as humanoid as possible. Think Galra from Voltron - that's the kind of energy I'm going for.
MC's people aren't exactly pacifists, but where they can avoid conflict in a diplomatic manner, they will. They've only had to do so with their own people in different tribes, not on an intergalactic scale. They might appear less evolved, but really they just didn't evolve their weapons technology. Violence wasn't exactly foreign to them, but it wasn't practiced largely. Ecologically, their technology is superior to those of other planets, especially one like YC's. Where they (YC's people) are much more militant and controlled – born to be soldiers – nothing more, nothing less - MC's people are liberated, they work together because they want to, not because they are ordered to. They are all equals. YC
Under the orders of their Emperor, battleships invade MC's planet. For resources, to conquer and terraform to their liking, you name it. They hit hard and fast, and with YC's people being complete under prepared for such a massive scale invasion, they fall. Ivy wrapped buildings crumble and give way, entire tribes are eradicated, elders are slain and burned to ash before their loved ones.
MC would be one of the survivors. YC will either be a solider or a commander of his quadrant, up to you.
I can see this going multiple ways. YC could find MC hiding out someplace and capture her instead of kill her – meaning any kinds of things could happen. Keeping her to study her, to get information from her, to toy with her if he's especially cruel. You name it. Whatever we end up choosing, YC will end up having his hands on mine.
We can work out all sorts of details in PM! Let me know.
If any of these sparked some intrigue, please let me know in a PM. You can tell me a bit about yourself, show me a little of your writing if you feel so compelled, and what got your wheels turning. I look forward to hearing from you!
