β
the selfβ
Quenric is lazy in the way only a dangerously competent person can affors to be: dry, sarcastic, blunt, and constantly exhausted by everyone else's drama, yet always the first to step in when someone vulnerable is threatened. He acts detached and inconvenienced by basic movement, but underneath all that weaponized boredom is a fiercely protective, morally stubborn man who refuses to hurt children or innocents and will absolutely turn on his own side if they cross a line. He avoids leadership, feelings, and effort like they personally ow him money, but when pushed, he becomes, calm, commanding, and terrifyingly effective. Quenric loves quietly and intensely, showing affection through loyalty, teasing, staying, protectiving, and acting annoying that he cares at all.
ALIGNMENT:Chaotic Good with Lawful tendencies
LOVES:Quenric loves books, silence, warm tea, long naps, old libraries, rainly weather, comfortable clothes, quiet morning, and places no one expects him to perform for them. He likes things that feel ancient and steady: stone halls, candlelight, worn leather, ink-stained pages, deep forests, storms rolling in slowly, and the smell of earth after rain. In his god form, he has a soft spot for offerings that are simple but thoughtful. Things such as pressed flowers, handwritten notes, rare books, good tea, carved wood, smooth stones, and anything made by hand. He loves cleverness, loyalty, honesty, stubborn little survivors, and people who keep going even when the world has been cruel to them. He also secretly enjoys small comforts: soft blankets, fresh fruit, sweet things he pretends not to care about, being left alone, and being loves without someone demanding that he explain himself.
HATES:Quenric hates needless cruelty, loud stupidity, forced performances, pointless ceremonies, being rushed, being touched without permission, and people who mistake kindness for weakness. In his god form, he has a special hatred for those who harm children, exploit the desperate, break sacred promises, or use power only to prove they have it. He dislikes crowded rooms, false politeness, empty flattery, dramatic speeches, and anyone who makes him stand for too long when there is a perfectly good chair nearby. He hates wasteβwasted food, wasted time, wasted lives, wasted loyaltyβand he has no patience for cowards who hide behind titles, bloodlines, armies, or divine authority. Most of all, Quenric hates being controlled, worship without sincerity, and being expected to forgive someone simply because they finally regret what they did.
GOALS:Quenricβs greatest goal is to reclaim his freedomβnot necessarily his throne, his title, or his place among the gods, but the right to exist without being owned, bound, or controlled by the All-Fatherβs will. He wants to understand the full truth of his exile, preserve the ancient domains of mountain earth and rain, and protect the mortal places that still remember him with sincerity. Though he would never call himself a savior, Quenric is driven to shelter the vulnerable, especially children, outcasts, oathbound souls, and those rejected by powerful figures. He also seeks to keep his domain from being rewritten, stolen, or reduced to something lesser by the heavens. Deep down, one of his quietest goals is to find peace: a place where he can rest without waiting for betrayal, be loved without being worshipped, and belong without having to become glorious for anyone.
FEARS:Quenric fears being trapped, owned, or bound to something he cannot escape, especially in his god form where devotion can become a cage just as easily as worship. He fears losing his freedom more than he fears pain, death, or war, because being forced to exist for someone elseβs purpose is the one thing that can truly make him feel powerless. He also fears failing the vulnerable people who trust him, especially children, survivors, and the few people he has allowed himself to love. Beneath all his laziness and dry indifference, Quenric is terrified of becoming cruel, becoming worshipped for the wrong reasons, or turning into the kind of god who stops caring because eternity made him numb. Most of all, he fears loving someone so deeply that their loss could ruin himβand knowing that, god or not, he would still choose to love them anyway.

ATTIRE //
Quenric usually wears clothing that is dark, simple, practical, and quietly regal without looking like he tried. In his god form, he favors long black or charcoal robes, heavy coats, layered tunics, loose trousers, and worn leather bootsβclothes made for walking through rain, stone halls, forests, and old ruins rather than standing prettily in a divine court. His outfits often carry earthy details: muted browns, deep greens, storm-gray fabric, ochre embroidery, iron clasps, leather belts, and small stone or bone charms tucked into the layers. He does not dress in bright celestial golds or polished heavenly white; he looks more like a mountain god dragged out of an ancient shrine, half scholar and half executioner. He may wear gloves, a hood, or a high collar when traveling, and Jordryn is usually in his hand or strapped across his back. Even when dressed finely, Quenricβs clothes feel comfortable, weathered, and lived-inβlike he would rather nap in them than impress anyone.
MODIFICATIONS //
Quenricβs body is marked with an interconnected system of geometric tattoos made up of circles, squares, and triangles joined by fine, deliberate lines that spread across his skin like a living map. Some of the shapes are filled in solid, while others are left empty, creating a pattern that feels both intentional and deeply symbolic rather than decorative. The tattoos travel over much of his body, linking together in a way that suggests sacred design, divine order, and something ancient that cannot be easily read by outsiders. The circles represent cycles, return, rain, and continuity; the squares represent foundation, stone, structure, and law; and the triangles represent mountains, ascent, storms, and judgment. Together, the entire network reads like a quiet language written directly onto his bodyβone that reflects his godhood, his domain, and the old power woven through him. When his power stirs, the lines and shapes can appear darker, more pronounced, as if the markings themselves are waking with him.
SCARS / MARKINGS //
Quenric does not have any scars or markings aside from one along his chest from where he was cast out.

β
the powerβ
Quenricβs skills and abilities are mostly natural and divine in origin, born from his domain rather than taught to him like ordinary magic. As a god of mountain earth and rain, his power was part of him from the beginning: the stone answered him, storms recognized him, and the old earth knew his name before heaven ever tried to claim him.
ABILITIES //
Quenric excels at quiet observation, judgment, strategy, and knowing exactly where the weak point is before anyone else realizes there is one. Mundanely, he is excellent with books, languages, records, law, history, politics, negotiation, and the dull administrative work everyone else avoidsβhe can read a room, untangle a treaty, spot a lie, balance a ledger, and insult someone so cleanly they need several minutes to realize they have been wounded. Magically, especially in god form, he excels at earth-bound power, ancient oaths, divine judgment, protective wards, blood-deep promises, storm-callings, and sacred punishment. He is not flashy unless forced; his magic feels old, patient, and inevitable, like stone cracking beneath roots or thunder waiting behind a still sky. He is also exceptionally good at protecting children, guarding thresholds, surviving what should have killed him, and making people deeply regret assuming his laziness meant weakness.
SPELLS //
Quenric does not use βmagicβ in the normal spell-casting sense. He uses divine authority given shape. His power is less like waving a wand and more like the world recognizing him as something ancient and obeying. In his god form, Quenricβs abilities feel tied to earth, judgment, oaths, storms, blood, stone, roots, and sacred law. He does not usually chant or perform flashy rituals; instead, his power moves with intention. If he wants a door sealed, the stone remembers it is a wall. If he marks someone with judgment, the mark does not just burnβit declares that they have been seen, weighed, and found wanting. His power is patient, heavy, and inevitable, like thunder building in the distance or roots splitting old ruins apart. It is not βmagicβ so much as the natural and divine order bending around his will.
GEAR //
Quenricβs most notable piece of equipment is Jordryn, a long, simple staff forged from meteoric iron and packed with ochre earth, giving it the feeling of something ancient, sacred, and half-buried before it was ever held. It is not ornate or decorative; Jordryn is plain by design, more like a relic, walking staff, weapon, and divine instrument all at once. In Quenricβs hands, it serves as a focus for his authority over earth, judgment, oaths, and sacred punishment. Jordryn can strike like iron, root itself like stone, channel storms through its length, mark the guilty, and act as an anchor when Quenric calls upon his god-form power. It is less an enchanted item and more an extension of his willβa staff that remembers the sky it fell from and the earth it was buried in.

β
the storyβ
Quenric was once a god of the heavens, born the son of the All-Father, but he was eventually exiled to the mortal realm. His exile was not punishment for rebellion, treason, or any crime committed against the gods. Quenric had done nothing wrong. The true reason for his banishment was his domain. Unlike the radiant, polished grandeur of the other heavenly gods, Quenricβs power belonged to mountain earth and rainβold stone, deep roots, storm clouds, wet soil, and the ancient bones of the world. His domain did not fit the All-Fatherβs vision of divine splendor, and worse, it commanded forces that predated the All-Father himself. Quenricβs power was not heavenly in the traditional sense; it was older, heavier, and harder to control. Fearing what his son represented, the All-Father cast him out of the heavens and bound him to the mortal realm, not because Quenric was guilty, but because he was a reminder that the world had existed before the throne.
INVENTORY //
Quenric carries a small, river-smoothed mountain stone from the land that once belonged to him before his exile. It is plain, dark, and cool to the touch, marked by a faint vein of ochre earth. The stone has no grand enchantment and offers no obvious power; its value is entirely personal. To Quenric, it is a piece of home, a reminder that his domain existed before heaven named him unworthy, and proof that the earth remembered him even when the gods chose to forget.
