Hello, I was invited here by an old friend who says he helped create this place, but who really knows. I'm argeebee. That's RGB, but in phonics. I thought it was clever but I've been informed it's pretty dumb, but it's too late to change it again.
I was invited here the first time, what, 2 years ago, whenever it was founded I think? I didn't have time then, forgot about it and spent some time doing other stuff, but now I have time, isn't that nice.
I'm here through association to 4chiri, got a feeling they use a different username now, Valyson is one I saw somewhere? Dang I really don't know what it is here. I recognise a few of you here, like DarkestPaladin, from way back.
Username used to be Surgeon-Scone ! (or Dinocharizard, but that one's nearly a decade old now) for anyone who actually did know me at any point in history, but through the magic of rebranding I'm argeebee. Just like New Coke I'm way sweeter but hated far far more by the majority.
I've been roleplaying for only a few years now, 2014 maybe? I have a habit to get cozy with a few specific areas and really settle, so I need a kick up the backside to explore new stuff sometimes. I'm big on character development, one-on-ones, smaller-scale stuff, and nice relaxing times, but this is a totally different format and if memory serves all of this will prove to be a lie, because I write very differently in forum-format and gravitate towards some of the more active stuff.
Don't care about writing level, I'll give a shot with anyone if you're cool. Don't do sex stuff, fade to black's how I roll, just not what I RP for. Most any genre is cool if it's presented right, so I'll probably do any genre if it seems fun. I got a real soft spot for a few genres like sci-fi and post-apoc, but maybe that's just familiarity talking. I do prefer it be entirely original characters, but not always an original setting.
Sometimes I draw pictures but I'm pretty bad at it, but I intend to get to a point where I can say "Hey, that's not entirely garbage! I'm a long way off yet.".
I also think the site's sorta ugly and hard to navigate because I had to seriously mess with my settings to make it readable but I have no intention of leaving just yet, I'll get used to it.
Edit: I found a bunch of extra themes, none are ideal but one of them helps me navigate a lot better.
