Without further delay, I would like to present my Glass Cabinet of Characters!

These are characters that I have made over the years.
And these are the ones that I just LOVE to write.

They range from witches, to mortal, to super heroes . . .
(quick disclaimer -- all characters are work of fiction and have no relation to anyone in real life. If there is, it is by pure coincidence. Thank you.)

I will edit them to fit different worlds/roleplays.
I will also add more as I create more that I adore!

Taima is short in stature, standing just above five feet tall. Though she acts tough, there is almost no muscle to back an threats she may make -- much to her dismay. Her hair is long, ending well past her shoulder blades, and it's ebony hue is paired with bleached white and minty green streaks. She loves long hair, but it constantly gets in her face. So, Taima tends to pull her sides back in a simple braid. Her eyes are a light gray with darker rims and they are fringed with naturally long eyelashes. She has pale skin that is riddled with freckles across her cheek bones with a few scattered along the rest of her body. Taima's outfit is usually that of an edgy kind. For her pants, she wear either gray, black, or dark washed ripped jeans. Her top usually consists of old, worn band t-shirts, but sometimes, she will wear something a little nicer looking if needed. To top off her look, she wears a black leather jacket and matching Doc Martins.

✵Personality✵
Taima has a cold exterior that can be pretty hard to break through. She is a steely reserved, if not harsh, witch to those she doesn't know. She prefers to work alone, but she isn't stupid enough to not ask for help when its needed. But she does have a soft side; it might not be the softest, but it seems a world away from her usual demeanor. . . It's just that she is a little emotionally constipated when it comes to interacting with others. She doesn't know how to act. A couple more things to add is that she stays respectful to her superiors and she has a soft spot for (baby) animals.

Round -- basically she is a jack of all trades, master of none kind of witch (instead of having a specialty)

(bolded is downsides/limitation/parameters of the magick, and the powers listed are the magicks that Taima excels in)
Though she is talented in most aspects of magick, Taima prefers that of Possession, Lightning(pretty self-explanatory, so not explained), and Crystal magicks. Her abilities grow stronger when she is feeling a great amount of emotion (but lets be honest . . that's almost never?)​

• Taima's specialties in Possession:
  • Creating and controlling golems. The larger the golem, the longer it takes to create. Also, larger ones can take up a lot of the users' energy if they are not careful.
  • With bonded animals (through crystals) the user can see what the animal sees and guide them. If the crystal somehow leaves the animal, the connection is lost. The longer the time the user has been bonded with the animal, the stronger the connection. For example: an animal bond that has only been around for a day will be fuzzy when looking, and the user most likely will not be able to guide(aka "control") the animal. A bond that has been around for a year, will be able to see clearer and the user will be able to guide the animal.
  • With a piece of technology that they have previously touched, the users spirit can access/travel to it. This can access special, secret information on the device, as well as usual functions. This can be activated for a maximum of 5 minutes, though Taima has only ever reached three. The older the technology, the harder it is to stay, and the user must have a buffer period before possessing the same piece again.
• Taima's specialties in Crystal Magicks: If not specified otherwise, the user must have the correct crystals to use.
  • Creating bonds (explained above in possession)
  • Amplifying different magicks. Some crystals are obvious, but if the wrong one is used, the stone will turn it's amplified power back on the user. Taima uses this when using elemental magic (the obvious kind of crystals).
  • On rare occasions, Taima can use crystals to teleport. This takes a lot of energy, and the crystal used is destroyed in the processes. The user must have one of the designated stones from the area to travel there.

Variations
She doesn't have to be a witch, but will probably still have an interest in "witchy" things
if she's a witch but has to have a specialty, that's perfectly fine!​

◈ Physical Appearance ◈​

Ashton is short for a guy. When standing straight, he is around five feet and seven inches tall. He may be small, but he has accepted that he will not grow anymore. It used to be a topic of silent rage, but you can't change what you can't change.

For as long as Ashton can remember, he has worn glasses. His eyesight progressively got worse until about his senior year of high school, and used to get a new pair of glasses whenever his proscription changed, but that got really expensive really fast. So instead, he picked out a thick black pair to wear.

His eyes themselves are a bluish green color. His skin is pale, even though he spends a lot of time outside and Ashton's hair is a sunflower blonde that falls in loosely down to the nape of his neck. In certain lighting, it almost looks platinum.

His usually clothing consists of dark jeans, a plain shirt or button up, and some sort of jacket (suit-type jacket, sweatshirt, etc.) His glasses are always on and he never leaves the house without them, as he could barely see. On him wrists is a bracelet he inherited from his mother after she died. He has never taken it off upon receiving it.

◈ Personality and Stuff ◈​

If there is one thing that you will remember about Ashton, it's his eyes. No, it is not the color of them, but the depth. If you ever want to see how he is doing, just look and you will see that this part of him is an open book. Ashton may seem stoic, but his eyes convey enough emotion that that is easy to tell what he's thinking. Sometimes it's a good thing, sometimes it's a bad -- it depends on who he's talking too.

Another thing that will stick with you is that Ashton seems to have two personalities:

• When you first met him, he is almost as shy as shy can be. He'll be quiet and it will take a lot of time for him to be able to approach someone new. He'll be reserved and hold back things that he really wants to say, but he believes that it is wrong to say that to someone he just met. He'll also be indecisive, saying, "I'm fine with whatever, it's what you want". He won't have an opinion to give because his won't matter at the time. More often that not, he gets mistaken for an asshole when in reality he's just shy.
• After time progresses, Ashton will become a completely different person. He will get loud and obnoxious to the point that you want to yell at him to shut up. He will be open and won't be afraid to tell exactly what he thinks. You'll find that Ashtan is actually quite opinionated (and an actual asshole sometimes). He still might be indecisive, but only because he does know or care what he wants.

On a side note, Ashton is unconsciously an extreme cuddle fan. While asleep, you can often find him curled around his pillow or blankets. And please be careful when waking him up. Ashton is known for grabbing anything in reach to snuggle with while sleeping. You have been warned.

◈ Strengths ◈ ​

• Ashton is a very clever person who is able to come up with multiple ways to make it through different scenarios that have the same/different outcomes. His mother was really into chess, and they use to play together for hours during the weekends since he was a little boy.
• Like most Rotgars, Ashton is somewhat athletic, having dabbled in a lot of sports since he was young, but never really sticking with one for that long. His favorites were track, cross country, and soccer (which he currently plays).
• I don't know if I would call this a skill, but he once learned how to play the violin to impress a crush . . . that didn't work out, but he still loves the music.

◈ Weaknesses ◈​

• Ashton cannot throw or catch. He has never been good at that, and he would always try to avoid the sports that involve it. He throws something in one direction, it goes in the other.
• He is easily scared, and we he is scared, he likes to curl up in a ball for comfort. Don't get it wrong though. If you threaten someone he cares about, he will look past him fears and fight you.
• Not that this is necessarily a weakness, but Ashton tends to be quite meek. Most of the time, he has little courage despite his capabilities. He most certainly isn't a leader and would rather follow others instead.

Variations
What I had in mind for Rps is more realistic or magic mixed in for real life, but I can make him fit pretty much anything. For romances, he is definitely a sub, maybe a little bratty at times.

The newest duke in the kingdom has the looks of a heart throb. At least that's what the rumors say. He has yet to make a large public appearance outside his duchy, and that has caused many rumors to occur. Lyle's hair is a bronzed brown, styled in an undercut. His tresses on top have a waviness to them that makes his hair look disheveled but not unkempt. He has eyes that are brown, and when light hits them, they appear to be gold. He his tall, standing at around 6'2". His shoulders are broad and his muscles are lean, built from years of training that most aristocratic sons go through. He is not one to show off, and his clothing is often void of the fancy flourishes that others with his title wear. However, his status is still evident by the quality of the fabrics that make up his wardrobe.

The reason that he became the new Duke of Aestica is because of the sudden death of his father.

❦ Rumors ❦
Some to note are about his personality and his rise to power. It is spread across the kingdom that Lyle Furlan has a heart of ice. It is also said that his father's death might not have been an illness, and that someone in the duchy might be to blame. However with the current situation of war, those rumors have mostly stayed as gossip.
