I figured it'd be best to start off strong and introduce myself. I'm an 18 (going on 19 soon) year old male named William (you can call me whatever, as long as it's not late to dinner) who pretty much grew up on the Internet. I started using forums when I was only 9 years old (and believe me, I made the cringiest posts and was made fun of into oblivion, but it all shaped me into the person I am today. And taught me much better grammar. Seriously. Look at how most college kids type. That's what I was doing when I was 9.)
I started off getting into roleplaying Pokemon, as that was a favorite childhood fantasy of mine. It wasn't really all that good, (in fact, I pretty much ripped off a lot character troupes and plot points and wasn't really all that consistent, but hey, I was a kid. I did it for the fun of it.)
Eventually, I started to take a break from forums to do live-chat RPs, typically involving either Harry Potter or The Hunger Games. And I feel like I've really honed my writing skills over the years.
But adulthood came, and it hit hard. My parents never cared much for me (that's putting it lightly, but I won't get into that here. haha), and when the time came, I had to drop out, get a job, and start providing for myself. Been too busy to really get back into roleplaying. I'd typically just play a video game or watch some YouTube videos when I'd have the time. A lonely, quiet life. Now that I'm settled down, I want to get back to doing what I used to do, and this site seems really promising.
I'm hoping I can make a nice little contribution to your wonderful little community here! And don't worry. I'm a pretty fast typer, and relatively quick to getting back with responses, so if anyone's interested, feel free to send me a PM!
