ABOUT ME

My name is Ember! I'm 28, a Sagittarius, and I enjoy long walks on the beach (at night because the sun is evil). Any pronouns.

I am (almost too) experienced in roleplaying and have been consistently involved in some kind of roleplay for 15 years.

I started with 1×1 and group role plays, then moved to TTRPGs. Now I DM for long-running campaigns and one-shots several times a week.
But I miss the freedom of free-form! So that's why I'm here. Let's make stuff up!

MY RP STYLE

I try to match my players' or partner's length of post and I write in third person and past tense. During the week I try to post at least once a day, if not more.
My weekends are usually consumed by my social life, so if I am AFK during them, don't worry I will be back!

OK with OCs or CCs in any mix.

The Commandments of Ember:

1. This is a fun hobby, not a job!

• While we should both be making an effort to write dynamically and well, I'm not going to be a stickler for the odd mistake or error.
• Please try to write AT LEAST a few paragraphs (unless we are in a quick dialogue scene)
  • To make sure we will be a good fit I will ask for writing samples and provide my own.
• I post quickly, but you don't need to. As long as you post once a week I will assume you haven't ghosted. (if you did, and want to come back, I’m pretty ghost friendly)

2. Third person or no person.

• If your style is different from mine, that's fine, except when it comes to third person. (and past tense)

3. Plot points and writing should be collaborative.

• I love GMing but I don't need to hold the reins! I will chat with you about major plot points and expect the same.
• That being said, I'm not looking for Dune or Game of Thrones level plots. I like a small cast of characters with lots of interesting development.

4. Be kind.

• I do not abide by OOC prejudice of any kind.
• All of us have things that make us uncomfortable. I will respect any triggers you may have and expect you to respect mine. We can chat about specifics if we decide we want to play!

5. Yappers welcome.

• I love OOC chat, sharing memes, GIFs, playlists, art, etc. If that's not your jam, just tell me upfront.

6. All you need is love.

• If we have already discussed and agreed on writing smut, then we need to discuss limits prior to starting the RP
• with all this in mind PLEASE be 21+
