Hey guys, sorry for the lack of posts, I've been really busy now that the holidays are over. I'll work back in the brunettes tomorrow or really whenever someone interacts with them, cheers.

I've been waiting for an opportunity to bother them and bring them into the fold.

So with the whole abductions thing... where does everyone want to take this?

Maybe have everyone who's specifically looking into things make up some clues and we put it together from there?

Do we want one of the pairs to get attacked by the group at some point? Or someone gets kidnapped then gets away?

I definitely like one group at least getting attacked. And a definite abduction. Depending on who depends on how they're rescued/escape

I like the idea of everyone making up clues as long as they go but it might get messy if we dont talk about them first

I think the best thing to do is for everyone to just kind of add in their own ideas in the RP as to what's going on. That way we aren't limited to a linear story and things get stale. Its all of our stories and should involve from all of us.

I could suggest that whoever is abducting is using the gifted for their own. Not just experimentation but has a way of putting them under some form of control. The experimentation is still there as the endgame is to get rid of gifted. Also, maybe we should go over actual weaknesses our characters would have, not just lack of control etc, but actual physical weakness. That way it can be used by other people in the roleplay but not stupidly. For example, shapeshifter lore said they couldn't handle silver, but aside from decapitation, they'll live.

I had an idea of gladiatorial combat where people get off on watching people fight

Yay I love flaws in characters!

Cass
- Needs way more water than a human, so dehydrates quickly.
- Not very physically strong or tanky. If she gets hit, its gonna get her good.
- Can't create water to attack/defend with, so put her somewhere super dry and she's gonna have a bad time.
- Relies heavily on speed and stealth. Incapacitate her physically (i.e. go for the legs so she can't outrun/out swim attacks)

Another suggestion: Consider how you're character will be handling this kind of stress. Yes they're all fighters, but everyone has their limits. They're in danger, and so are all their family and friends. No one knows who they can trust. Use this.

I like the idea of a gladiator kind of thing, but not all characters have been combat inclined. Some have been training yes, but some have not. I'm all for it other than that.

Also, Cass always has a waterbottle correct? Could she do a little manipulation that way?

Sorry, kinda feel like an idiot now lol.

lol you're good. Cass isn't dumb enough that she'll leave it somewhere or forget it, so it's a good question. Even if its spilled she could theoretically just pick the water back up. So it wouldn't be easy to separate it from her completely, just worst case scenario for her she isn't able to get to any.

Also, I forgot to mention while she does know some hand to hand, she's not amazing at it. She prefers to stay ranged cuz it's hard to focus on manipulating water when you're being punched in the face.

Right? lol. Emily has been training with Jorrun, but Olwen has just been running. Still not combat inclined.

I'm not saying everyone needs to be part of a gladiatorial arena but if someone were to get captured and we do a skip to find them. During that time they could've had an unknown amount of things done to them.

Jorunn and his ability are very subpar in terms of combat but they could find it amusing to see how much he can handle.

His weaknesses.
-Social activity
-If done correctly, any ranged form of attacks.
