About: Emily is the older of a set of fraternal twins. Shes the complete opposite of her brother. Friendly, outgoing and loves to party and make new friends. She has a jealous/overprotective streak when it comes to her brother. She's never had a serious relationship, hasn't had a desire to find someone to be with.

For this roleplay, Emily and Olwen are witches. They come from a rich family. After finishing school, the two opened a business together, a coffee shop/bookstore combination. Emily runs the coffee shop and Olwen is in charge of the bookstore. The twins are complete opposite in their skills as well as personalities. Emily often adds potion concoctions to her drink creations and Olwen is more charm and spell inclined. The shop is located down a small alley. The shop is welcoming to any sort of magical creature as well as humans. It has an enchantment on it for the humans who are not wise to magic being real, keeping it hidden. The first floor of the shop is home to the coffee cafe and very normal books. The loft above has spellbooks and is off limits to humans.

My idea is kind of slice of life in a supernatural world. I will be playing as two characters though I find that I tend to play as Olwen more. I want a love story, but it needs to be a slow burn. I have multiple ideas within this world but I am also open to hearing yours, also, we can do more than one idea if you like both Olwen and Emily.

1) A human finds the shop and has no idea about the world of magic. Emily would happily introduce them to the magic in the world after a short while, but Olwen would want to keep it hidden.

2) YC is already a magical creature and finds the shop charming, coming to it often.

I'm not going to hide that this isn't going to be a love story, but I am open to adventure and whatever ideas you have.

I like at least a paragraph in replies. I understand short ones are needed, especially in a conversation. But I want to know what is going through your characters mind, even if my character can't mind read. It helps me learn about your character and would help you learn about mine.

I actually have no shame and asked for help on plots. @Is it Amy? Is truly amazing and she sent me these plot ideas. I can't decide which one I want to do as they all sound good and I hope you guys find one of them exciting as well. So please PM if interested, and which one. Or feel free to suggest your ideas as well if these two interest you.


1) A person drops by that is in need of help, they are running from something. They may or may not be supernatural, but whatever is chasing them surely is. They're not sure why at all. This starts up a longer series of smaller plots to discover how to get away from this thing, what it is, how to keep it away temporarily and then permanently. Each of those steps could easily involve whole other stories/adventures in the meantime.

2) One of the twins is captured! Why? Because they happen to be a suitable vessel for a powerful, ancient being. Time to get them back, prevent other vessels from being taken and remove the people trying to revive the old ancient evil... oh, twist! It's not an evil. It's a good? A good that sees all of humanity as a scourge, okay so zealous eradication. Same need to remove it!!

3) A hunter of rogues, supernatural creatures that cause trouble and don't play well with others, frequents the twins. One day they come with a need for finding some rogues that requires some more intense research, employing Olwen and then having to pull him along on an adventure to use his talents in tandem with the hunter.

4) Something in the city has nullified magic, revealing supernatural elements and creatures all around who were hiding behind illusions and what not. It causes a massive panic. It's discovered that a group of religious zealots are coming through to remove all supernatural creatures... and any humans who get in the way.
