Greetings ! Again.

I was lowkey enabled by my fellow chat people to post this, so I don't forget about it. I've been playing Warframe and watching some playthroughs of the Last of Us, so my latest craving is an apocalyptic or dystopian setting. The setting can be either fandom-based ( I'm very new to Warframe, so my lore knowledge is literally 1/10 at the moment ), inspired by a specific fandom we're both familiar with, or entirely original and of our own creation. I personally prefer option one or two, just because I'm new to worldbuilding and I tend to forget easily. Thanks, ADHD. I'm not against building an original world, of course. I'd just like for us to keep notes on a shared Google Doc, or keep it simple and add details during the story itself. I'm strictly looking for romance, even in this setting. Platonic stories tend to make me lose interest quickly, so I'll just leave them out from the very beginning to avoid having to drop the story in the process because my brain is how it is.

LAYER I : PREFERENCES.​

• I usually have a very heavy preference for MxM pairings, but I'm currently craving to try some FxF, so I'll focus on finding that first. If not, it'll be MxM.​
• I generally write submissive or switch characters and would much rather not be asked to write a fully dominant character. Especially, if the dynamic is FxF. I'm very new to it, so please bear with me.​
• I prefer writing characters who are 21+ at all times. Even better, if they're 25+ during all times. I'm fine with age gaps, as long as both parties are consenting adults.​
• Smut isn't an absolute must, but I do find it enjoyable to write and I feel like it lends to the story. But if you don't write smut, you can still apply for this and let me know beforehand.​
• While on the topic, my limits are fairly straight-forward : Ageplay, incest ( step and adoptive included ), rape / noncon, bathroom stuff, hypnosis, feet, bodily fluids, sexual violence, etc.​
• I'm immune to heavy and descriptive gore, death and other dark subjects that will likely be included in this story, due to the setting chosen.​
• The writer's gender is irrelevant to me, but I'd rather write with 21+ writers due to my own age.​
• My characters are usually queer, so I absolutely love gay, bisexual, trans characters and whatever kind of queer you can think of !​
• Animated or video game faceclaims are highly preferred, but I may agree to live action if all else fails. I will not work with AI generated content, as a personal preference.​

LAYER II : A LOOSE STORY IDEA.

• I usually don't have extensive story ideas because I want to discuss with my partner and make sure we're both on board. But the idea for this is that MC is infected in some way and thinks they're going to turn into a zombie, or whatever kind of creature we decide on making the enemy. They're about to be executed, or they're being hunted down by the military / a group of survivors, when YC comes in and rescues them. Turns out MC is immune to the condition they're carrying, so YC decides to team up with them. YC is probably some kind of loner who doesn't really want companions and MC has just been ostracised from their group, or they've been dumped by their family / partner / etc. I'm not sure about the end game yet. That can be discussed.

LAYER III : WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ME.

• I write in third person / past tense, paragraph form. I'd like you to do the same, if possible.
• Each reply will be 300+ words, minimum. I usually do around 500-700, but can go up to 1000 words if inspired. You don't have to match the length exactly, but I prefer 500+ words, if possible.
• Weekly replies ! I try to reply at least once a week, or more often, if possible.
• Even if I write a submissive character, they won't be a whimpy damsel in distress, who just lays back and cries when in danger. I like interesting personalities with many layers.
• Discussion, discussion, discussion. You can expect me to send you random stuff and ideas for our story at random times. Much more, if we chat over Discord.
• I will not ghost you. If I want to drop the roleplay, I will let you know. I'd appreciate it if you did the same.
• While I don't usually do sci-fi settings, I'm open to discussing such for this specific roleplay.

A quick note, that I'm leaning towards the Last of Us, as a universe inspiration but that's not a must. I'm also kinda craving a FxF pairing, because it's new to me and I'm curious.
