What can you expect from me?
Detailed, 3rd person responses.
Long-term, detailed stories with complex characters.
I shoot for 1000+ words per post, but most of the time I'll try to match what my partner gives me. Above all, quality over quantity!
For now, I'm able to reply every 2-3 days. I'll be sure to let my partner know if it takes longer than a week.
I like to plan first, and I want there to be some kind of flow. I don't want to feel like I'm pulling all the weight. Roleplaying is a collaborative process, so let’s treat it that way!
I don't do fandoms. Original characters only.
I love OOC! While I don't expect us to be best friends, it's always nice to be able to gush over our story and characters.
For now, I prefer playing a male MC.
I don't double. I can play multiple side characters, though (both male and female, it doesn't matter to me).
I'm not ghost-friendly. I can’t force you to keep writing something you don’t enjoy, but if there’s a problem, I’d much rather you tell me than disappear into the aether. I won’t take it personally. I’d rather you just tell me you don’t want to continue writing with me than waste my time and leave me wondering if I should look for other stories or not.

Is able to match my post length. I understand that some scenes flow better with smaller word counts, but if I'm noticing that I'm giving you paragraphs and you reply with just a few sentences, I won't be sticking around.
At least one post a week. Preferably more. I find it hard to stay interested if I get a reply less often than that.
Enthusiastic about exchanging ideas and doesn't leave the brunt of the work to me!
Please don't use anime or realistic actor/actress/celebrity face claims in your character sheets. I find both incredibly jarring. Everything else should be fine.

No text talk, no * * symbols to depict actions, etc. It's fine in OOC, though, as long as it's not used in your story replies.

Darker themes and twisted characters are fine but should be discussed beforehand. That being said, I don't want to play or play against abuser, violent kidnapper or assaulter roles. It's just not my cup of tea.

I'm fine with smut in our story - it can be full-out, or fade-to-black. However, the story comes first! Don't DM me if smut is all you're looking for. My estimate is about 80% plot and 20% smut, give or take.

I’ve really been craving a faerie-focused story - something that leans into those whimsical, fantastical elements, but with an undercurrent of something darker. I love the way folklore portrays fae as both enchanting and unsettling, beautiful but dangerous, and I’d love to capture that balance in the tone of the story. YC could be human, fae, or any other magical being that fits naturally into the world we build together. I’m open when it comes to your character and how they fit into the setting. That said, I do have a strong preference for playing a faerie myself, so I’d really appreciate that being kept in mind when we’re planning things out!

2. The Age of Rot ***
This is set in a formerly prosperous kingdom that is on the verge of collapse. What was once a thriving land of trade, order, and beauty is now in decline. Crops fail without clear reason, towns hollow out, and roads no longer stay safe for long. The decay isn’t just physical; it feels like it’s spreading through the world itself. A disease that seizes the mind, body, and soul. Old power still lingers in the bones of the land, but it is fractured, unstable, and deeply corrupted. People turn to desperate measures (rituals, forbidden history, and whatever remnants of old authority still remain) in hopes of slowing what feels increasingly inevitable.

3. The Stench of Death Draws Them Closer
Inspired by The Witcher, though it doesn’t have to be set in that world or include any canon characters. A remote, weather-beaten region where superstition carries more weight than law. People learn to keep their heads down, to follow local warnings, and to not ask too many questions about the land around them. In one such village, livestock is found drained in the fields. People begin disappearing near the treeline. Those who return are not quite themselves anymore, speaking in half-finished sentences, forgetting names, or staring too long at things no one else can see. YC and MC somehow become involved in what is happening in the region.

4. This World is a Wasteland Where Nothing Can Grow
This one’s inspired by Frostpunk and set in the Victorian Era. The world’s been swallowed by eternal winter, and humanity is desperately trying to build new settlements that can survive the brutal cold. Think heavy steampunk vibes, with rough, experimental inventions keeping people alive. MC would be a doctor/surgeon; one of the lucky few who managed to board one of the last freighters leaving London before the seas froze solid, cutting off all travel.

5. In the Wake of the Ripper
This is a pretty open-ended RP set in Victorian-era London, at a time when illness is spreading, and people are on edge over the recent murders attributed to Jack the Ripper. MC is a detective trying to track down the killer, but he has a secret he keeps carefully hidden: he’s a vampire. He uses his position and abilities to investigate the case while trying not to draw attention to what he really is. Along the way, he ends up forming an unexpected alliance with YC. How they meet and why they decide to work together is something I’d love to figure out collaboratively.
