|| The big bad Wolves ||
Werewolves have existed for as long as there have been people who walk on hind legs. Shapeshifters blend with humans and turn on full moons hiding their gifts for their own protection. A handful of werewolves live in cities and make monthly road trips to the wilderness, others use more painful approaches to keep themselves under lock and key - wolves that tend to not know where or how to begin looking for people that would understand what they are going through. Safe havens for werewolves are hard to come by, thanks to decreasing land, hunters, and inter-pack wars - lone wolves scarcely survive in this harsh world - their wolves less controlled, more prone to feral natures in the dangerous extremes that attract hunters who waste no time in harvesting pelts and bones for personal collections.
Evercreek, however, still stands.

Evercreek: Better to Live With Wolves Than People
Evercreek is one of only a handful of wolf packs still existing and prospering away from unknowing humans. They have a relatively small cabin community deep in the Tongas National Forest. To the far North there's a snowy mountain range that casts a chill down the valley in all but the peak of Summer months, some shelter spawning from the vast greenery that thrives between the main river. Wildlife roams freely here and foraging is made easy in a balanced ecosystem.
For better or worse Evercreek has only a single road that connects it to the outside world. A beat-up dirt track that goes for miles before evening into tarmac at a ghost town housing only the most stubborn of families. The next city after that is hours in driving. It's good for dissuading happy campers from wandering too far into their territory, but it means when things go wrong nobody but who is already there is coming to help.

WEREWOLF STANDARDS
The Rules of the Pack
1. The Pack always comes first, above all outsiders.
2. The Alphas word is final for any disputes that concern them or the pack.
3. The Alpha can be challenged at any time for its position.
4. Wolfbane is poison! Using it against a fellow wolf is forbidden.
6. All organized challenges must be witnessed and respected as 1V1.
7. A lone wolf in the territory that does not make his presence known is free game, their safety is not guaranteed until they pay respect and receive a blessing from the alpha (blessing may be rejected at the alphas discretion)
8. You shall not harm humans unless they harm you first - personal contact is not forbidden but discouraged.

Types of Wolves
If you have an idea for your werewolf send me a message and let me know your thoughts! Writers will have a lot of creative freedom for how their werewolves function. For example, werewolves that can only shift during full moons are stronger than day shifters. Some werewolves may be able to talk to their wolf and communicate with it like a friend or family at any time, others may only have one inner voice in both human and wolf form. Is your werewolf a full feral wolf when they shift or are they more anthropomorphic? Have fun with it!
Alpha
Taken:
The alpha is the leader of the pack. While the position will generally be past down from a lineage of generations, it isn't uncommon for fights to break out for the title. It is their responsibility to keep the pack safe. They have final say in any disputes that break out unless a challenge has been issued and agreed on by both parties. It is a full-time job that demands respect.
-Reika Finch - Played by @BonnieBee

Guardians
1 / 4 Spots Available:
Protectors of the pack, these are the strongest wolves and the first line of defense against threats. They will be the first at the side of the alpha in an emergency and are entrusted with upholding the laws of the pack in the alpha's absence. Guardians are second in the hierarchy and so have more status, more responsibility and are usually picked for their strength or intelligence. If they break pack laws, they are punished harsher than other wolves.
- Eden Vahn - Played by @heather
- Letha Montgomery - Played by @Fenn
- Shephard Howl - Played by @BonnieBee

Scouts:
1/6 Spots Available
Explorers of the woods, these wolves are the gatherers (when able) and mappers of the settlement. They are an important part of survival, finding where the heards are heading throughout the year and helping to organize hunts. They likewise keep tabs on any unusual activity around the settlement and help to keep balance to the life around them, making sure the wolves aren't overstepping nature's generosity. They have long work hours and are expected mostly to travel in pairs or three's.
- Andres Luis Vega - Played by @Peculiar
Liliana Blake - Played by @PocketWorms
- Orpheus Starvos - Played by @gravemermaid
- Rita Birch - Played by @BADENHOP
- Saffron Glade - @Cinnabar

Medic:
Taken
While a medic may have several apprentices, only one wolf can hold the title of medicine wolf at any given time. They aid the wounded and sick and are expected to be experts in their fields to a reasonable degree. Medics must ask the alpha's permission if they ever plan on venturing away from the pack grounds so they can be contacted easily in an emergency. In past law Medics were not allowed relationships outside of the professional. Although this rule has been overturned by the packs last alpha, many still look down on a medic so much as socialising.
- Erek Mroczoswki - Played by @Fenn
Apprentice Elijah "Eli" Lycnh - @Cinnabar

Pack Mates
Unlimited Available
Pack mates are regular wolves in the pack that take on jobs with more variety. These are the cleaners, the chefs, the elderly, and the apprentices. Pack mates have less restrictions that those in the above positions, they can help out wherever they are taken and able.
- Jean Felice - Played by @BonnieBee
- Julian Vega - Played by @Peculiar
- Juno Park - Played by @Cinnabar
- Juniper Hawthorne - Played by @gravemermaid

ROLEPLAY RULES
This part is for us as writers directly.
1. No godplaying or godmodding
God playing as in having godlike abilities and we all know what godmodding is.
2. ALL SITE RULES APPLY.
3. You may play up to 3 characters - Please only take on as much as you can reasonably handle. Starting with one or two characters means you can make for a strong foundation.
4. Aim for posting between 2-7 paragraphs per post, more is welcomed and encouraged! But maybe not for every post.
5. If you have an idea for your character that might alter species lore or the environments/setting, please run it by me first. If it's perfectly acceptable you'll get a green light to cannon it for your character, if it has wider impacts on other characters and writers we will have a group discussion and come to a fair group decision.
6. Abuse of a ranking position can result in fellow writters voting you out of that position. This includes myself!
7. Intolerance will not be tolerated and targeted exclusion of writers is not permitted. Everyone is treated equally.
8. This will probably contain gore and some explicit content, you may wish to not join if themes like that make you uncomfortable.
9. You will receive up to 3 warnings, 3 strikes and you're out!
10. Other supernatural creatures are allowed but will be limited. Focus is mostly on werewolves and shifters.
11. We will not have a strict post order - simply respect your fellow writers and wait for all characters that are present in the scene to reply before posting again. If it has been three days since the last character in your group has replied, you are also free to post again to keep the thread moving unless the writer you're waiting for asks to wait.
12. And finally, if a character breaks a law, they must face the consequences of their actions unless a reasonable excuse is given!

If this premise sounds interesting at all please message below either with questions, a completed character sheet that I can approve or just a quick hello to say you like what you read. Below in the spolier is a template for your character sheet, and if you feel more comfortable my PMs will be open ^-^
