He is...
Becoming, but not yet is as he will be. He is a man who is peeling away the barrier between the natural and supernatural worlds. He seeks the power that comes with drawing from the arcane, never satisfied that the search has ended despite his newfound knowledge. He uses what he has and the powers he discovers to bring the world before him to it's knees. He is obsessed with more...and more.
You are...
A woman who is the object of his obsession who either carries secrets to power, or is power in yourself. He discovers you, seeks you, strives to conquer you, possess you or draw the power from you. Not even he is sure what form that will take, but he will not stop until he achieves his purpose.

I appreciate you considering working with me to live out this obsessive character that I have built in my mind. I also hope that this story is a base upon which you can build your own character that you desire to live out.
The setting for this story is open to your input. As a start, it is a world of magic and monsters but only in shadows. People only whisper of the nightmares that are real, calling them myths or fables. We know better though. The world can be a modern urban cityscape full of crime and decadence. Or a Victorian age where science and invention are making leaps and bounds. Perhaps even a future dystopia, or massive castle-like ships among the stars. I am even open to cyber/steam/etc. -punk. Our imaginations are the only limits.
Also open to your input and to allow you more freedom to mold a character to your liking, MC would be either a wealthy and influential member of society, or a criminal working to build his own empire.
An additional thought is that the initial connection between our characters could be through some sort of telepathic link, or perhaps starting in our dreams and going from there. This would be evidence of the strenght of their bond and the drive MC has to find you. YC could be resistant, seeking her own power, or whatever you prefer to do with her. I am very open to letting you direct YC.
I am looking for a partner who truly wants to live out the experience of the story, and not just put pen to paper. I want it to be like living another life. And as a warning, although this seems very serious, I also enjoy many a good laughs along the way. So, don't be scared. Well, be a little scared.
