- Baff or Bathy, 40+ F (writing M), Midwest USA
- I've been writing for a long time, we don't need to measure.
- Open to most pairings where I write a cis male character. Try me. Stories without romance are welcome too.
- Word count talk annoys me. I usually land at 250+ and often go longer. My message history speaks for itself.
- I can't commit to a set reply speed. I pick RP up and set it down like a video game. Right now I'm averaging about a week.
- Ghost-friendly, but that knife cuts two ways. I won't nag you about posting frequency, but if I'm bored waiting around, I'll refill the roster.
— Things I Bring to an RP —
- snappy dialogue (I like to laugh)
- thoughtful settings, with detail and atmosphere
- toxic emotions like jealousy, hatred, possessiveness, distrust, etc.
- villains, anti-heroes, morally gray characters (with character arcs often)
- more recently, also just some regular, nice guys with bad options
- almost exclusively unreliable narrators
- crime, violence, drug abuse
— Things I'm Seeking from an RP Partner —
- attention to detail
- at least monthly replies
- realistic characters
- willingness to plot OOC at minimum (but a full blown friendly dynamic is better)

If it fits the story, I'm happy to write it, but the tension is what I'm really here for: forbidden fruit, adversarial flirtation, yearning, and chemistry that takes its time. When things do heat up, the action will reflect the character's preferences.
Hard passes: toilet stuff, vore, anatomically unlikely bodies, racial fetishism, extreme submissives, chronically sad/mopey characters

Lately I've been craving science fiction and modern fantasy/paranormal. Give me spaceships, strange new worlds, and near-future tech gone wrong, or witches, curses, and hidden magic in ordinary towns. Crime and morally gray men are very welcome to wander into either.
That said, I'm always willing (and prefer) to whip up something new. If we agree on the above, we'll be well matched no matter the plot.
