I don't know if we should start it with the characters separated. And technically, 111 was the only vault with cryo function. If the story will surround Contra's character, we should probably start in the same place. Realistically, maybe they wouldn't all feel the need to help him, but maybe the feeling that they should all stick together would change their minds.
Vault 111 was meant to accommodate families from as far as Nordhagen, even if they never got there in time. But the inner-city vault, which I believe was 114, was meant for the rich and elite, as an experiment to see how they'd adapt to living in squalor. (Technically, I suppose Ainsley would've gone to 114, but like I said, only 111 could've had preserved survivors. Might've been that her father was a member of Vault-Tec's upper management, and he made sure that Ainsley would be placed in the only vault dedicated to the survival of the original inhabitants.)
That goes along well with my thoughts for the beginning. I've been up for 5 hours already checking the thread and trying to come up with a good beginning, lol.
Late October sounds like a good time to start. New England probably gets pretty cold that time of year. Once it gets even colder most of the natural vegetation and wild plants like mutfruit would die off making it much harder for 4 people to eat.
Armie is overconfident and arrogant, he can be perceived as a sociopath at times for his lack of empathy and his manipulative behavior. He often believes he is above the law (as he was raised to think) and is a hapless human being.

Armie grew up in a rather wealthy family, riches and spoils showered him since the day he was born, of course, being born into one of the most infamous mobster families in history. His father was to be feared by all, the one and only mob boss in Boston, his opponents never stood a chance. Armie was taught under his father's twisted, crooked wing, witnessing and taking part in his dirty deeds from the young age of 14; it wasn't long before Armie morphed into a second Giorgio Luciano. Learning how to fire weapons, extort, rob, gamble, and murder. Taking the lives of those who did his father and their family wrong was a fate Armie couldn't escape from, not that he wanted to. He was a brainwashed young man, self-aggrandizing and selfish, the only person he truly could ever love, besides himself, was his sister, Xochitl. She was the opposite of their family, the one who stood out, that didn't want to be "that mob boss' daughter". She was brave, generous, and selfless. Armie loathed her for it, but at the same time, its what made him found of her. Before the bombs were even broadcasted to fall, his family knew about it, though they had a spot secured in Vault 114, Armie's father laundered money to bribe a place in Vault 111 for his children, aware of the cryogenic pods there, hoping that they would continue his family's legacy after the nuclear explosion.

Quick question for the group? Iv done writing before where we only write our character and iv done it where you put a thing or two in the post of others characters to help make it flow. How does everyone want to do it?
