Once upon a time in the wasteland... A woman lost in body and soul—scorned, robbed of her true purpose in the face of tyranny. There, and only there did she find meaning: becoming the bogeyman to the NCR.
⌖
Xifāng Lòng, the Dragon of the West. From her own understanding, she was the very last of the Shi Empire. Her parents were scientists when they were made prisoners of war by the NCR—they watched as friends, neighbors and family alike were murdered just as many others in Bitter Springs. She'd heard very few stories from that day, but that was from the very fact that Xifāng was the child of two of the most unwillingly neglectful parents in the wasteland. They'd spend endless hours, days at a time, working the laboratories to make up for the sins of their people in decades past; there was little time to tell stories, let alone raise their own daughter. As such, the long-standing traditions of the Shi began to become lost unto one of its descendants.
Turning to a life of crime, Xifāng became extraordinarily handy with a rifle. Her life as a mercenary began after she ran away at the age of eighteen with an already steady addiction to nicotine and jet.
⌖
As the Dragon of the West, Xifāng is a mercenary for hire and is willing to do anything to fuel her myriad of addictions to cigarettes, mentats, psycho and buffout. Because of her on-sight kill rule for the NCR, she has made herself a wanted enemy of the NCR. Rumor has it that the 'scales' of this so-called dragon chime in the wind; but those who were lucky enough to have lived to tell the tale stated it was the numerous dog tags she collects as trophies. They've even found some stashes taken, power plants hacked into and tampered with, meaning that this was not only a deadeye of an enemy to have—but an incredibly smart one (she has to have that much intelligence in order to fuel her addicitions efficiently).
What is next on her journey? That is for us to find out! Let's continue to shape her journey.
