Jumbled's Request Thread
This thread is intended to draw in any partner that would play a male character for a M β’ F story. True pronouns of my partner have no bearing on if I will write with them. I will not connect any person to their specific characters. You are a real person, your character is not.
My posting schedule can be erratic and requires patience and understanding from any partner (Lately I've been doing really well, though). I will not promise to post once a day, or even once a week. There are times it may take me a month to respond, but I tend to stick around for OOC chatter and even plotting or world-building regularly. Sometimes I have a lot of art I've got to get done for site or various jobs, other times I'm busy with family, etc. But I hope to make my posts worth the wait. β‘ Itβs just my reality. I do not accept being guilt-tripped over my response times or the order in which I choose to respond to partners, though. I don't harass my partners for responses, either, not unless I'm being a brat and you understand I'm just fucking around. So long as I know we're still both intending to write, I'm content to wait.
My reply lengths often land somewhere close to a thousand wordsβsometimes more, sometimes less. Feel free to look at my work on site for a better idea. I do not demand word counts from anyone, but I enjoy when a partner is able to match my vibes, contribute to plot appropriately, and keep communication going.
Below, I've got more information about what I'm looking for, some general kinks, and a list of plots. I'm adding to my ideas every now and again, so scroll through them and see if anything excites you.

About
Iβve been writing for a long time.
I enjoy gaming, often alone on my PS5.
I'm a stay at home mom, which might sound like I have a lot of time to write posts... but no. It's actually difficult to find a quiet moment to myself so that I can think. But I get it done.

Iced lattes year round. Photoshop, drawing. Creating forum codes. Jokes, especially lame ones. Animals. Cool weather with a cozy blanket. Gem stonesβI have so many, and still want more. Pretty color palettes and alternative rock/pop & emo music. Cooking & good food in general.

Fantasy & Dark Fantasy.
Supernatural, and dangerous witchcraft. Magic and mayhem. Demons, Gods and Demi-Gods. Bonding rituals, shapeshifters, vampires. Fae realms and magical creatures in far away kingdoms. Alternate realities and different dimensions.
These themes work especially well for me in gloomy atmospheres where things are more threatening than wondrous. Or beautiful settings that are at risk of being lost forever. Where the protagonists are flawed and grow into better or worse versions of themselves. Explore the more frightening side of magic, power and the societies that thrive around it, and the injuries and injustices that occur because of them. But don't forget the romance. It can bloom in even the darkest of places.
Modern, Medieval, and Victorian-esque eras are where I thrive.
Past tense and third person.
As far as face-claims go, I can be flexible.
More detailed Erotic preferences are below, but I'll note here that I'd like to avoid strict fade-to-black writing. When the time inevitably comes to write a sex scene, I want to have the opportunity to learn my character (thoughts, emotions, struggles, etc) from that as well.
Slice of Life doesnβt have enough action or adventure for me, so I don't often seek out those kinds of plots. I have no interest in fan-fictions. No Furry pairings for me.
My characters are often written as stubborn, strong willed, and maybe even hot-headed. It really depends on the plot, but I do not enjoy writing as a completely helpless female that is unable to at least try to solve problems on her own. Maybe I could write one that starts off that way, though. I partner well against anyone that prefers to write as a male character that won't always let her win, that isn't always soft. Being romantic is great, but if their relationship is sweet without any hardships or conflict, it might fall flat.
I have some plot-seeds listed below. They aren't set in stone, and we can tweak them together if you think writing with me is a fit for you. The plots are just there to give you an idea, or make those creative gears turn until we can land on something fun together we'll both enjoy. Feel free to message me if you'd like to write.

When starting any story with me, you may use the information in these tabs (they scroll) as a general guide. I do not see the sense in discussing my specific kinks during the initial plotting process because, well, because it feels awkward. We just met! Don't read this wrong. I might choose to write a story that is heavy in erotic moments, even early on, but I don't intend to plan out every sexual encounter that turns me on as part of my world building. Especially not right after we say hello and tell each other our usernames. Let me get comfortable with you as a person, world build, character build, and then we can dive into some of the specific encounters we want to happen that make sense for the story being written. Anyway, it's not always about what turns me on versus what the character and plot call for. Writing to explore a kink instead of a plot is not my style.
I do want a steamy story that will still move a plot forward. Typical sex scenes when writing with me could go on for several posts. Other times, we may decide to skip the scene and imply what happened in order to keep from feeling repetitive. I'm not looking for a strictly fade-to-black story, but I think I can match styles to keep both of us happy.
If you are looking for a darker theme that involves specific, taboo acts, please be up front with what plot elements you are after when you contact me. Include why you want what you do, so that I may make a proper judgement call on if we will work well as partners, or if the plot is something I would be interested in. If you want to include some sexual act because it makes the story more interesting, provides a backstory you want, etc, I'd just like to know from the start to avoid any risk of triggers.
Erotica
-
Vanilla: Flirting, Teasing, Kissing, Cuddling, Physical Contact
Agoraphilia: Risk of getting caught publicly
BDSM: Handcuffs, Ropes, Blindfolds, Claustrophobia, Cuckolding, Exhibitionism, Knife Play, Wax Play
Sub & Dom Relationships: I can write as a possible brat, Switch leaning more Submissive. She may try to take the lead, but her man will take it away from her and she'll give in, sexually speaking. She may appear more confident and in control with her daily life, choosing to make her own decisions at times. But deep down she's tired, scared, and wants someone to take control.
I can also play a more dominant woman that takes the lead in life and the bed room, makes the decisions, and defends her man against possible dangers. Power dynamics seem fun and I'm keen to explore them with the right partner.
Not everything in the list needs to be included in a story. I'm perfectly content to keep things more like a classic, vanilla romance.
Good For Me

Unless we've had a discussion about something specific, and it's because we want that particular thing in our story due to the nature of the plot, these things won't really get me going.
Verbal: Degradation/Humiliation, Name Calling
Mental: Brainwashing, Severe Mental Illness
Physical: Hitting, Impact Play
Props: Ball Gag, Bondage Suits, Pain Sensory Toys
Other: Water Sports, Feet, etc. No incest or other family relations.
Regarding Sub & Dom Relationships: I'm not interested in playing against a shy submissive male that avoids eye contact and acts weak overall for any erotica setting. For myself, I do not want to write a strictly dominant characterβbeing a switch, I think it's fair so say I should be allowed to do as the term suggests.
Regarding Non-Con/Dub-Con: Rape is bad, we know this. But for a story, I do not mind it being used to develop a character's backstory and behavioral patterns and habits. While I might lead a character toward a dangerous situation in a story, and that might involve someone trying to take advantage of her, the objective would be to have her saved from such a hateful act. I will not write a character that falls for someone that violates her in such a way.

A Jumble of Plots
I've cut these down because my mood has changed since the last time I bumped this RT. I'm feeling more on the upbeat side right now.
A Warlock's Folly:
fantasy victorian era/dark magic/fake relationship/teacher & student/corruption/easy romance
Sheβs a nobody. Lacking finer possessions and described as "average looking" on her good days, she's usually dressed in ragged clothes too large for her frame with hair that's always messy. Heβs an aloof warlock living in high society that keeps to himself and avoids the watchful eye of The Inner Circle, a council of powerful mages and world leaders he's expected to answer to. He doesnβt want anyone in his business, his house staff intentionally small to keep his more taboo (think illegal and forbidden, not sexy) research to himself. Unfortunately, a recent sudden death of an employee meant bringing in someone new. Her. It's been so long since he's needed a new staff member in his home, but so long as they keep her in specific areas of the manor, and teach her what's expected of her, it should be fine.
The Inner Circle would love to remove him from his manor and revoke his status. (We might have to world build some government here, I suck at that but will google and try my best. Basically some warlocks hold status and have manors appointed by the inner circle, or sometimes they're born into it? idk) The Circle sends word of an upcoming scheduled visit to his home, their task meant to pair him with eligible ladies, else he risk losing his status and estate to another up and coming warlock. They expect him to refuse, which would give them more reason to pull him from the estate. The problem is, the warlock in question is very strong, and has helped the country/kingdom/whatever on more than one occasion, making him difficult to replace.
Avoiding the inconvenience of an unwanted bride, as well as wanting the circle out of his hair, he tells the staff to clean up the new girl, and dress her like a lady proper, so that she may pose as his future bride. He has enough time before the visit to court her, to make the relationship seem more authentic. Of course it's all just an act. He has no intention of being with her or connecting with her for real. He's done this before. (Cries to the inner circle about how she's called it off or something and needs time to recover, maybe this time it'll have to end in a mysterious disappearance or death, who knows?)
Once she's cleaned up, she presents as average but pretty in her own right and there's something comforting and enjoyable about her presence. In their time spent together, He learns that she possesses some magical abilities that are untapped and he becomes very curious.
After their visitors leave them, he feels reluctant to let her return to her duties, but he convinces himself that it has nothing to do with wanting her. He finds more reasons to keep her around him and out of the kitchen, though. Maybe he wants to train her. Maybe something else. Meanwhile, the warlock faces sudden issues after an experiment gone wrong. Can he get everything under control while keeping things quiet from the Inner Circle?
Not Specific and only kind of helpful:
- Some kind of Fae story? I'll be clear and say I'm not looking for characters that appear to be monsters. In the past I have been presented with characters that have wings, which was fine enough. However, I was also presented with a character that had mouths where eyes should be, and NO eyes at all. I'm not about any of that. No thank you. If you have read through my RT and have somehow come to the conclusion that I want a romantic interest to look like that, something has gone wrong. I'm open to hearing plots, I don't have solid ideas. The only think I'd wanted to do in the past was have my character hidden and raised in the human world to keep her safe from assassination. No idea of her fae identity, she thinks her magic abilities are tied to witchcraft or typical human explanations.
- Falling fast, like instant attraction. Pair this with something that's making one or both reluctant to express feelings. Like a curse. This vibe always feels like there should be a man that had been married in the past but the wife died. Late Medieval vibes, magic could have been involved- hence the curse aspect. Meanwhile the female could be divorced, given up on love, or life. Or had spent her life worrying about a sibling and never herself.
- Multiple love interests- maybe everyone is okay with it. Maybe it's causing a lot of confusion and problems. I don't know. I would love to have a coffee shop setting just because as well as have the opportunity to make random characters that can come and go as needed.
- There is a magical book with a gem on the cover that is empty. The pages are also empty. The book essentially gives the person that picks it up a paper cut and it fills the gem on the outside with blood, meanwhile the pages suddenly fill with scripts, using the blood. The book is bound to the person that bled. The owner can pull their blood away to hide the information. This is more of a plot device that can go into anything, but I don't want to forget about it, because I saw it in a dream once, so it's added to the list.
