While this isn't what I explicitly write, I wanted to put a search thread out there for anyone seeking a good story with romance that skips the sex scenes. Closed door, fade to black sort of thing.
I write 3-6 paragraphs per post and would want similar from my partner. More or less depending on the situation. As you can see in my most recent RP thread though, if it's a good story and my partner writes more detail, I have up to a page a post at times. It just depends on how we write together
Pairings are great, but I've found we need a plot to push the story along and not get stale. We also need character development. People have flaws and grow, so should our characters!
I play a male main character, and both male and female NPC or side characters.
Most my stories do include violence on some level and adult topics like abuse or hardships such as war or other traumas. If you have a boundary, let me know and it will be avoided.
I have a few starting plot ideas below, but would want to work on the details together. Be warned I'm not good at editing text boxes like this, so it's nothing fancy, and I'm not great at summaries. But I tried

Also up for anything based within these worlds, though I don't have a plot ready, or the world is too but for me to explain unless you've read/played it:
-Brandon Sanderson books
-One Dark Window world setting (the book)
-Baldurs Gate 3
-Solo Leveling
-Vampire Masquerade
-Arrows of the Queen series (I could explain this one if you look up the plot and think it sounds interesting. Kind of a school of magic, knights setting)
-Modern slice of life pairing with magic involved
My writing is nothing groundbreaking, but if you see what you like in my past posts and have an idea not listed above, don't be afraid to reach out. I'm happy to listen or learn of a new story just waiting to be written.

:- Arranged marriage between two nations. Involves a murder attempt and the characters growing together, learning the different cultures, along with a looming war from another nation, or another threat they need to come together to address and show the people they work well together. I've done this as different races, both human, vampire x werewolf, or in a Shifter setting.
- Royal Prince or king x his knight (YC). Magic is involved, themes of breaking gender norms with a female knight, and adventures of defeating and all powerful evil guy that happens to be related to YC (I'm very partial to this one )
- Based off Daughter of the Moon Goodness book, YC's existence as being a daughter of the imprisoned moon goddess was kept secret, but YC had to flee once found. Determined to free her mother, YC tries to get close to the Royal family and find out how to get the sentence revoked...in trying to do so, she eventually enlists in the army serving the royal family, meets MC the son and Prince of the parents that imprisoned YC mother. Will she tell him who she is and her goal to get his help, or keep it to herself and use him as their romance comes to life?
- Prisoner of war - fantasy or Roman-ish setting. There's a war going on between two races and a military general of sorts, or Captain, is captured. I picture this in a sort of Fae, beyond the veil kind of setting, but it could be something else.
- Assassin x target. Story has themes political intrigue, and of trying to figure out who's the real bad guy or if they're both just getting played. And who's pulling the strings? Medieval or fantasy setting.
- Slice of life involving her moving or long term visiting a remote town with an industry revolving around tourists and nature. This is a quiet cozy roleplay with more dialogue, where they both have commitment issues and a past but are curious to work through it to learn to love again. Would probably involve some heavy topics of discussion. I've done this once before and it was quite sweet.
