About Me, and What I'm Looking For
My list is mostly full right now, so I'm picky about what I'm taking on, and am only looking for a couple specific plots that I am really craving at the moment.
1. THE WINTER SACRIFICE (High fantasy, MxF) (CLOSED)
YC is a human who has been deemed cursed by her village because of her magical abilities. In the middle of a particularly long and brutal winter, the village decides she is the cause of their troubles and must be sacrificed. They bind her, take her out into the middle of the woods, and leave her there to die. Instead, she is found by MC, the fae king who rules over the forest. Though he has a reputation for cruelty, he is curious about this 'cursed' human, so he rescues her and takes her back to his castle. But when YC finds out that this capricious fae is the one causing the terrible winter and has no intention of ending it anytime soon, will she try to convince him to save her village, or punish it?
2. THE INVASION (Sci-fi, MxF or MxM) (OPEN)
Humanity is in the midst of a grueling war against an alien species - and they are losing. Every day, the aliens take more of Earth. The mech pilots are humanity's last line of defense. YC and MC are both talented pilots who were rivals in their training/academy days, locked in a heated competition for the top ranking in their class, and widely known for hating one another. Now, after a couple of years apart in the war, the two meet again when they're forced to partner for an important and incredibly dangerous mission. (MC will be male, YC can be any gender.)
3. A DRAGON'S HEART (High fantasy, any gender pairing) (CLOSED)
MC is the latest in a long and proud bloodline of dragonriders, born and raised with the assumption he would one day become the leader of his weyr; YC is a scrappy commoner new to the weyr, chosen to join the ranks of the riders because of her rare natural affinity for dragons. The two have never gotten along as they've trained together over the last few years, though their dragons have always seemed drawn to one another. But now that the old head of the weyr has unexpectedly passed away, MC has ascended to the position of leader - and his dragon has chosen YC's dragon as his mate, meaning that YC will rule alongside him. And they need to figure out how to get along and work together quickly, because danger is stirring in the greater world... (I wrote this as MxF for simplicity's sake, but the genders can be swapped up. The plot/terminology are influenced by DRoP but I'd like to do this in an original setting.)
4. THE LAKEHOUSE (Horror, any gender pairing) (CLOSED)
MC and YC had a recent, messy break-up, but both had already agreed to spend a weekend away at an isolated lakehouse with their friends. It does sound like a much-needed vacation - a weekend of partying and relaxation with no phone service or internet. They decide to go on the trip and do their best to get along. After all, how bad could one last weekend with an ex be?
Really bad, as it turns out, when a ruthless killer turns up to torment the group and kill them off one by one. Will they be able to set aside their differences and work together to survive the night?
(I would love if we could each double up for this so we have plenty of characters to torment/kill off.
If we're doubling, I'd like to play at least one male character, but my main can be any gender. We can also discuss the killer/s - could be a murderer, a monster, a group of attackers, anything! I can play the killer/s as well or we can share control. Also want to note - I'm all for blood and gore, but I'm not looking to write pure torture porn. I want rising tension, and chase scenes, and ~drama~)

x I'm mostly interested in playing either male or female characters against female or non-binary characters. I do not write female characters in mxf. You can ask me about mxm, but I need the right plot for it. (Trans and "futa" characters are also totally welcome, but I would prefer if it was just an aspect of the character rather than treated as a fetish/focus of the rp.)
x I usually write 2-4 paragraphs per post and would like partners who write about the same.
x Sometimes I may post once or more per day, other times not, but you can generally expect at least one post per week from me. I'll let you know if there's a reason it will be longer than that.
x Action, angst, and complicated relationships > pure smut or fluff. I'm more than happy to write some sexy scenes, but I don't want the whole rp to revolve around them. My ideal story-smut ratio is around 70-30.
x I really prefer my writing partners to be 21+. Please tell me if you're younger. All characters should also be 21+.
x Third person only, please. I default to past tense, but present is also fine with me.
x I'm happy to use real people or digital art as faces, or none at all, but no anime fcs please. Also, when using real people, I will usually use celebrities (mostly actors/models).
