MxF Fawn's Hoard - New Plots Added!

Hello! I'm Fawn. New here, not new to roleplaying! I've been writing in some form or another for over ten years, and I have a ton of old characters who need some love and plots to bring them back to life. My posts are an average of 300-500 words, but they do vary with how much time I have, how intense the plot is at the moment, and how the writing muse is cooperating. I do tend to respond on a fairly erratic schedule, it can vary from within 24 hours to within a week generally. I don't write sexual content, but injuries, violence, etc. are all fair game!

The characters:

Spoiler: Reika Scarrow

Reika is bold, reckless, and fiercely stubborn. She has been riding dragons since she was a young teenager, now 24, and she can't see herself in any other life, even as her profession grows more dangerous by the day. She is passionate about what she believes in, some notable topics include treating captive dragons well, ending the unnecessary slaughter of wild dragons, and remaining deeply loyal to few surviving riders from her original band. Her chosen mount is a juvenile venomous dragon named Haaku, and they have worked together for six years. A dragon can never fully be trusted, but Haaku and Reika are about as close as it gets, with Haaku being very protective of her rider. Of course, a few minutes later Haaku is trying to bite her hand off. Balance.

Spoiler: Keinan Hale

Keinan is a recently retired soldier with a chip on his shoulder and a bone to pick with the kingdom that discarded him. He gave ten years of his life in service to his king, despite his personal reservations, and after he was injured in the line of duty, he was simply abandoned with no support, no pay, and no future. Now, he seeks to join the underground rebellion brewing in the kingdom, hoping to repurpose the anger he feels into something useful. Something has to change now, and he doesn't mind being the force behind it. He has many qualities of a good leader; patient, level-headed, intelligent but willing to follow orders. Since a head injury that caused his unfortunate discharge from the army, he's still picking up the pieces and trying to find his new purpose while figuring out who he is among the rubble of his former life.

Spoiler: Alec McKain

Alec is a battlefield medic, or perhaps a palace medic, or perhaps a healer. Either way, people are broken, he puts them back together, through magical or nonmagical means. He's a fairly rash, impulsive man who often breaks protocol and any rule he can if his way is better. He is outgoing and friendly, but there is a side to him that people seldom see, a protective and slightly violent streak when the opportunity presents itself. No one will get to his patients without going through him, and there's more to this medic's past than he lets on.

The plots: (spoiler: there usually isn't much of one I just really want to write sob)

Spoiler: Dragonrider Plot - current iteration taken, open to new plots

Reika is a military dragonrider assigned to protect a company of soldiers. Dragons are generally viewed as wild beasts and untamable, and those who choose to dedicate their lives to the dragons are viewed with both respect and judgement (why would anyone want to be near the beasts, after all?) This will be a romance plot, and I'd love to pair her with a soldier, a medic, or an officer in the army or possibly the enemy army, but any other character pairings are open as well. There may be elements of forbidden romance, depending on the character.

Spoiler: Rebel Plot

After Keinan's dismissal from the army, he hears of a rebel faction operating near his hometown. He's not sure what they're doing now, but he knows their eventual plan is to end the reign of a tyrannical king and put another descendent of the crown on the throne. He joins the rebel faction, and... who knows? Possible tropes: commoner x royal or future royal, ex-soldier x rebel fighter, ex-soldier x rebel spy... So many options here. (I love Keinan and would love to write with him someone let me lol)

Spoiler: Medic Plot(s)/Tropes

Honestly Alec fits in so many plots. Medic/Healer x Royal, Medic/Healer x Soldier (whether friendly or enemy), Medic x Guard... He is amazing and I can probably squish him into a plot or trope you already have, too. If magic is involved, Alec's healing magic does have limits, takes physical exertion, and he can't really heal himself.

I am open to more suggestions for plots, tropes (other than NSFW), and ideas/pairings for these characters! I love brainstorming plots and storylines, so please reach out if you're interested!
