Hello and welcome to my search thread!
I'm Sky, and I'm currently looking for a couple Final Fantasy XIV roleplays. This thread is mainly looking for 1x1, but I'm open to small groups as well!
In a nutshell, I've gotten sucked into the FFXIV universe over the past several months. I'm still a sprout, but even so I've really fallen in love with the game's story and characters, and I'd love to do our own take on it with action, adventure, fluff, and maybe some slice of life. If that sounds like the kind of roleplay you're looking for, great! Please check out the info I've put below!
** PLEASE NOTE that I am currently at the beginning of Endwalker! If this is a dealbreaker for you I understand, but please DO NOT SPOIL ME on anything past Shadowbringers. I've done everything up to and including the first Endwalker MSQ, as well as most raids up to that point (off the top of my head, the only one I can think of that I haven't done is the Nier series. Will get around to that soon).

➣ I'm 31 years old and have been roleplaying for over a decade on various forums.
➣ I live in the pacific timezone, though which timezone you're in doesn't matter to me.
➣ I am seeking only 21+ writing partners, no exceptions. Please state your age in your message.
➣ I generally prefer shorter posts over longer ones, i.e. 2-5 paragraphs over an essay. It makes replying quicker and in my opinion makes the story flow a bit smoother. However, that's not to say that I won't pump out 15 paragraphs if I feel like that's what I need to make my point, describe the scene, make something happen, and so on. I won't expect you to mirror my post length as long as you're moving the story forward and contributing something meaningful.
➣ I write in 3rd person past tense, and would like my partner to do the same.
➣ I'm working full-time and am not going to be able to post every day. If you're looking for a fast-paced roleplay, then I'm probably not the writing partner for you, sorry. Generally I'll be around for OOC stuff, whether that's hashing out RP details, giving updates, or just casual chat.
➣ I'm comfortable playing male and female characters.
➣ Currently I'm looking mainly for MxF pairings, as that's the orientation I'm most familiar and comfortable with writing. (Your IRL sex/gender/orientation does not matter to me.)
➣ My roleplays generally include romance between our characters as well, slow-burn style, but if our characters end up working out better as friends, I'm not going to force a romantic relationship.

Probably doesn't need to be said, but just in case: if we do include Haurchefant in a pairing, it would need to be an AU where he survives Zephirin's attack. I'm open to discussion on how to rewrite that one scene if we start in A Realm Reborn or Heavensward, and what happens to our boy afterwards.

Give me some short descriptions of your OCs and who you would like to pair them with! Doesn't have to be long, but some basics like race, gender, job(s), background, personality etc. would be great to know. I have several OCs as well, some more fleshed out than others and some I would like to pair with specific canon characters. More details on them when we figure out which characters we want to have!

➣ I'm not looking for smut regardless of orientation. (As a clarification: I'm perfectly fine with our characters doing the do if the relationship and timing feels natural, but writing the whole thing out isn't my cup of tea. Fading to black is fine.)
➣ I will not write harassment or abuse of any kind between our characters, excessive blood and gore, bestiality, underage romance, or horror.
