I only play submissive characters- getting that out now:
Only 3 rules:
1) no bathroom play
2) Death/maiming must be discussed and there must be enough characters as well as a good reason
3) I do NOT do fluff- I prefer deeper characters with more to them than cuddly teddy-bear airheaded acceptance of what is going on- so expect my character to be rough and tumble- and don't have yours being all talk and no action... mine won't make the first move.
Check my other request thread for the description of what I enjoy. https://writerssanctum.com/threads/looking-for-play-need-doms.11587/ :) On to this story idea!

The world is changing and supernaturals have been discovered living among the human population. Mutants and humans just barely managed peace when the other races and creatures began to emerge and everything went wild. War inevitably broke out, and as humans seem to predictably do, they began to capture and experiment on all forms of supernatural creatures, from were's to vampires, fairies to elves, the supernatural creatures found that if they weren't being killed outright or dragged off to labs, they were being corralled into bordered off sections of cities to live in perpetual slums or poor towns that could barely get any supplies.

Of course, New York City was bound to have their own 'supernatural zone'... in the northeastern corner 20 city blocks were divided among three gangs: the Spades, the Kings and the Rippers. Despite already having to deal with the human hatred, these three groups have their own values which conflict with one another....

Kings: Passive-aggressive. They prefer a life of blatant luxury. They have found ways to make money, promoting gambling, sex clubs, and other seedy operations, but all of them are run with the air of sophistication and cleanliness- at least as far as their leader Kogi is aware of. Kogi is soft-spoken but firm and his intention is to eventually renovate the entire 20 blocks- however, the Rippers and Spades stand in the way of this and do not want to fall under the orders of an "arrogant upper-class bitch". They do work at taking over- but do so by allowing the other two groups to 'raid' them and capture the incoming members to hold as hostages- though there are a few under Kogi who may be doing other things with those they capture.

Spades: Mostly civil. They prefer a quieter way of making their lives work. Made up mostly of ex-runaways and thieves, the Spades have done minor renovations. They don't have the money like the Kings do, so instead of actual reconstruction, they have used what was already there to fix up and make livable apartments. They trade with the humans or steal what they can to survive. They do have some rules- but their leader Tasuke (toss-kay) tends to be pretty lenient about them breaking those rules. More often than not they pay by handing over any cigarettes they have to their leader. They dislike the flaunting they feel the Kings do, but their bigger hatred is reserved for the Rippers. They have had members dragged off and tortured by the rival gang and have gone into Rippers turf to kill those who have dared to cross the invisible lines.

Rippers: Anarchists. When they were shoved into the slums they took it as the humans running thin on ideas as to how to fight back. They were quick, under their leader Azael, to attack outside government buildings to rescue fellow Supernaturals and initiate them into the gang. They are rowdy and they don't give a fuck about rules. They are willing to do anything they can to make everyone aware that the only rules they follow are the ones they make as they go.

The Leaders: Kogi, Tasuke and Azael are mine, but if I play them it is likely to be as NPCs unless you have a really good idea for one of them. The idea is for your character to come from one of the groups and capture one of mine from one of the remaining two. This will be a world/story building r/p so we'll start out with the two main characters developing their slow bond and then we can start looking to drag in more characters from other areas. The humans are likely to all be NPC's for plot development.
