Hello! I’m looking for a long term partner but I’ll be upfront about me not always having time to write every single day. I’m super busy, but as long as we have good communication, I can still write at the very least once a week, depending on my schedule. I can usually talk OOC even on days I can’t write a rp response.
This is a vampire centric request thread, I’m really only looking for vampire characters and stories. If you especially enjoy beautiful over dramatic men with long flowing hair you’ve come to the right place.
I’m open to slice of life, angsty dark plots, lighthearted comedy, almost anything as long as the characters work well together and there’s a good communication between us.
I adore gothic, historical, punk, southern gothic, low fantasy, whimsical, glamorous, and dingy worn down settings, themes, and tones. Any of these can be applied to any of my ideas.
These are my current plot ideas but I love brainstorming with my partners so please feel free to make suggestions if you have any ideas for your characters, place settings, or plot details! Please keep in mind that the character types for Muse A and Muse B are all suggestions and I am very open to your ideas and input. If I say Muse A is tough and you think that plot would be more fun if he wasn’t than by all means go for it!
For all of these I would prefer to play as Muse B but I’m willing to discuss roles, tropes, themes, etc especially if something really appeals to you. All of these plots are MxM.
• Currently craving vampires with traits or features that aren’t common in vampire media,

Our characters are fledgling vampires. They were turned by the same master and have lived together for several years. Under their master’s watchful gaze they have been protected from others of their kind, living fast lives jumping from place to place and moving all over the world. Normally, a fledgling wouldn't be in much danger from other Nosferatu, as long as their master doesn't have many enemies, then the offspring should have little to worry about. But there's a problem. Fledglings typically don’t like each other. They fight for dominance, and like animals in the wild, the weaker die to ensure that only the strongest and smartest vampires survive. But these two have a unique relationship, which is fitting since they’re oddities amongst their kind. They care for one another despite the laws of their secret society. If that were the only strange thing about them, then maybe they'd have nothing to worry about. But something went wrong when they were turned. Muse A can’t control his bloodlust, raging after his victims like an animal unable to get his fill, and Muse B can only drink the blood of other vampires, resulting in an uncouth and taboo diet beyond any exception. Even if one could bring themselves to kill the other, there's little to no chance they'd be welcomed within vampiric circles and allowed to live if they were discovered. So, they have to survive in secret, not only from humans but from their own species as well. It's a good thing they like each other.

Muse A is hauntingly beautiful, with a quick wit and frightening intelligence. Long silky hair and striking eyes. He is a coveted vampire, the muse of many artists, and had a short-lived writing career at one point. Muse B on the other hand is of the less fortunate vampires. He's afflicted with albinism, horribly sensitive to all light and a delicate vampire all around. Only able to stomach the blood of certain animals and far less gifted in the typical vampiric ways. He isn't particularly fast or strong; only a vague telepathic and telekinetic ability aids him at times. The pair have been lovers for a long time and have moved from place to place. They currently live together on a private property in the dry fields of the south. A large farmhouse and a stretch of dirt roads and pastures filled with cows and horses. This is their home for now. It’s not the first one they’ve had nor the last. It’s not the luxury either of them prefer but they needed a place to lay low for while and recover after an encounter with other territorial vampires several months back that left their lives upended. For now they’re playing the part of mysterious and quiet newcomers in a tight nit community. They raise their specific selection of animals and in secret drink their blood, they work late night shifts in town, and seem strangely close to one another. All with a smile of course. Can they survive a secretly domestic life without drawing attention from the local punk teens or stepping on the toes of the old weathered countrymen? Maybe… maybe not.
Optional addition to this plot: What happens when they adopt a human baby and kill a family all in one night? Can they keep up appearances, bury the bodies, and stick together through this long enough to figure out what their next move is? Or are they going to meet a dead end?

They were best friends growing up in the hauntingly quiet town build near the banks of the river. Joined at the hip since the third grade when they first met. Muse A was always a little strange, a little too obsessive, a little too by the books, a little too much for everyone. Muse B was always the quiet kid, too tall to stand with the class in group photos, hair too long to be acceptable, eyes never focused on what was in front of him. As they grew up summer became their time of year. They were the small kings of a fort deep in the woods far beyond where they were meant to go. Once adulthood settled in over them they stayed in town. Muse A became a respectable member of the community, though his intensity and passionate fervor in which he did things still made him hard to stomach for most. Muse B on the other hand got a sophisticated office job working a position that lead to less and less people wanting to see him. Although summer breaks were no longer a part of their lives their imaginary kingdom was. On their days off, they still hiked out to their favorite spot to get away from it all, even if the vivid images their minds used to conjure were long since faded and sun-bleached.
They were surviving. Perhaps it wasn't healthy, but they ought to have been better off than some, right? That was until Muse B hit a depressive spell. A fog rolled over him like something he hadn't escaped from since childhood. So, he went to the only place he knew he could go. After a terrible accident all alone Muse B is turned into a vampire in order to save his life, assumed dead and with no body found Muse A is left all alone in the world with nothing but an empty field and a lifetime of carved trees and worn down foot paths to comfort him.
But that isn't good enough for Muse A. Hellbent on finding his friend who he hasn't given up on, he finds the vampires and Muse B. The reunion is messy, it's emotional, it's everything they need and don't need all at once.
Now they must live amongst vampires or go on the run forever.

The Quackenbush Traveling Carnival was a sight to behold for the lively 1920s American landscape. A sickening display of life's darkest and most whimsical aspects all laid forth for the common man to see behind bars of cages, silk screens on little platforms, and beneath striped tents. But for Muse A it was a disguise. After murdering a man in cold blood the lone traveler needed shelter, food, and a place to hide his face from the past. What better escape than a home on wheels that never stayed in one location more than a week's time? He quickly built rapport with the freaks and scam artists by doing labor and learning the art of "psychic" crowd work. But of course, there was something darker than his own troubles lurking within the troupe's depths.
Muse B, a vampire performing artist in the carnival, was a kept secret among the group. Many of their attractions were faked, but his teeth and appetite were very real. With a plethora of excuses and cons to keep him from being found out or ever having to see the sun he's gotten away with his life for many years. Until he meets Muse A that is.
Muse A is becoming a hit attraction, amazing crowds with his abilities while Muse B continues to stun onlookers with his own performances. The two find each other more amusing than the crowds do, though, but of course, it can't be all glamour and fun. Muse A is letting the fame and ability tp get away with murder get to his head while Muse B is trying to starve off the need for blood lest he bring the carnival down with him. Can they love each other and deal with their own blood-stained lives, or will arrogance, narcissism, and a rabid bloodlust kill them both?
Characters that have no set plots but I enjoy using occasionally (we don’t have to use these, I love making new characters for role plays):

Albrecht Meyers
6"3 - Male - physically 36
A vampire with some peculiar ailments. He was in the woods alone when he shattered his leg; he lay there for hours in agony, crying for help that never came. Death, unfortunately, found him first. He was then turned into a vampire; however, an infection had settled in from his injury and caused a mutation. Although his bone set near perfect, his hands and feet are discolored, now a purplish-red. His fangs are slightly too long and his ears just the faintest points. He's impossibly cold even in the summer heat near a fireplace and struggles with insomnia.
He's a quiet man more interested in reading and learning to knit then he is in going out and mingling with others. He has a deep love for nature and quiet little spaces untouched by others. He has old man hobbies like bird watching and quarter collecting.
There are two different ways I'll write him depending on how old he is. If he's a young vampire who was turned in recent history, then he's a loyal and sarcastic man who loves deeply and is often quite gentlemanly and awkward. Younger Albrecht is still not used to vampirism and holds a lot of fear about drinking human blood, so he tries to work around it by only drinking animal blood; however, it makes him weak and his ailments worse.
If he's an older vampire who's been around a while then he's cold and lonesome, unafraid to play dirty. The type to have no home or loyalties to anyone, who's willing to work in dark recesses of the world if it grants him protection or free meals for a while. No questions asked, only does as he's told. Drinks his fill and thinks as little as possible about it, despite the better part of himself telling him to stop.
About me:
• I’m 22 and require my partners to be 18+
• I tend to aim for at least 3-5 paragraphs but I can get very chatty and write way more than that when I’m very inspired or given something to really work with. I ask that you strive for at least the same length, but I can also match your length if you write way more than that.
• Literate, semi literate, and novella
• I love to talk OOC about anything plot related or character related. Please send me your ideas, playlists that remind you of our characters, your “what if” scenarios, and anything else that makes you kick your feet and squeal with excitement lol I love geeking out and knowing we’re both engaged! So don’t hold back!
Looking forward to seeing what we can come up with
