Hello! I'm looking for a long term partner but I'll be upfront about me not always having time to write every single day. I'm super busy, but as long as we have good communication, I can still write at the very least once a week, depending on my schedule. I can usually talk OOC even on days I can't write a rp response.
I'm interested in vampires, fae, elves, centaurs, werewolves, and werewolf adjacent creatures. I also have one human x human plot listed, but I'm willing to turn them into monsters as well if you're interested lol. I'm happy to discuss details together and see what we can come up with.
But if you especially enjoy beautiful over dramatic men with long flowing hair you've come to the right place.
Our characters are madly in love with one another, devoted beyond what is healthy despite the turbulent life they've led. Truth be told neither have a clean record. Muse A is a busy man with a touring band to lead while Muse B just wants to settle down and enjoy a peaceful life away from the public eye as much as possible. Muse A is a well known star, popular amongst the public and always going out to events or preforming live shows. His fans adore him. But he's reckless and far more dangerous and rude behind the scenes. Muse B however is a more quiet and reserved man, keeping to his poetry and old tv shows at night. Both have written songs and poems about each other in their most precious of moments and their worst of times. They can't stand to be apart just as much as they can't stand to be together.

Muse A is an outlaw, wanted in several places for various crimes, while Muse B is a good natured man who decided to try his luck on the darker side of things. Muse B once lived a regular, some might say boring, life while Muse A hasn't stopped running since the day he was born. When their paths cross it's like lightning striking, a horrible twist of fate or something more akin to a wish gone wrong. Muse B sees the good in Muse A which is all Muse A has ever wanted, and Muse A is the poisoned kiss and reason to live for that Muse B has longed to have.

Fox Wicker
5"8 - Male - 24
The son of a necromancer human mother and an elf father. He's not in tune with his abilities and often denies having any real magical power at all. He's a stubborn and sly young man who often does (fake) fortune telling for coins in the towns and cities he visits. He has only enough room in his heart to care for himself and a very select few others. His horse Hyacinth takes up a large portion of the available space. He's just trying to survive. He's willing to monster hunt for money, clean a cook's kitchen for food, and can fake a sweet smile when he has to.
Any time he uses or comes into contact with real magic, it turns some of his hair white; his hair is now a mess of black and white streaks.

Terran
Male - 23
A centaur who is the son of his birth tribe's leader. He was meant to be a cool and collected man with a leader's intuition and a warrior's spirit, however, he simply isn't. He's a sweet, painfully naive man who's all smiles and wants to be friends with everyone he meets, although he knows the danger strangers bring. Most would be bitter, cold, and strategic after living a life like his, but Terran glows with the warmth of the sun, hopeful that if he can just break away from his origins, be as positive as he can be, and just keep his chin up, then he can have all the friends and safety his heart desires. But deep down, he truly needs to have a good cry and find someone he can actually trust, otherwise he's going to implode because he can't deny his lonely life forever.
He loves music and dancing, is quick to give to others, and often doesn't think things through particularly well. He has pure intentions and blocks out the red flags surrounding him whenever he finds himself in a bad situation.

Gilles

In the 1500's he was a squire, destined for a life of pure glory. His noble origins and his knight's training were a safe guarantee of that. Until things took a dark turn. A bandit in the night had plagued the stables for days, a horse was dead and drained of blood, another was missing completely. Finally, Gilles was tired of the constant search and went to relax and see a theatre troupe perform their wicked acts of comedy, against the direct orders of his fellow noblemen. That night changed everything, he was enamored by the performance, drunk on wine, and antsy for a fight as soon as he ran into a mysterious cloaked figure in the crowd who smelled of death. The stranger climbed atop a horse, a horse Gilles recognized immediately as the one that had been stolen. A chase, a fight, a struggle, a grizzly fate comprised of teeth and blood.
However, Gilles' life wasn't as wicked and terrible as he had feared. His new master, his Maker, only turned him in the heat of the moment to save himself from being killed or found out as a monstrous blood drinking beast. He treated Gilles very well, nearly like a prince, keeping him as a beloved companion and darling child of darkness. They went on that way for many years until his Maker died tragically. Now Gilles is lost and alone, having to survive. He hates being alone.
He's a greedy, needy, brat who expects a life of luxury to be handed to him on a silver platter and is sure to make anyone who falls for his pretty face and witty charms go mad.
Sergio
6"2 - Male - physically 41
An odd and eccentric vampire who's found a love for and a purpose within the unusual. Sergio adores oddities, neon lights, bad movies, and the beach. He wears round red-lens glasses, large fur coats, bright Hawaiian shirts, and often carries a cane with him. He used to be a warrior, fighting with his fellow Vikings before he was turned into a blood drinking monster many centuries ago. He's battled his demons, circled his own shadow like an animal in a cage, and killed people with his bare hands. Nowadays, after a few name changes and several years going in and out of obscurity amongst his own kind, he isn't much of a fighter. He's more interested in collecting taxidermy than getting involved in any sort of conflict. Really, he just wants to have a good time and treat people better than he was once treated.
Albrecht Sanguine
6"3 - Male - physically 36
A vampire with some peculiar ailments. He was in the woods alone when he shattered his leg; he lay there for hours in agony, crying for help that never came. Death, unfortunately, found him first. He was then turned into a vampire; however, an infection had settled in from his injury and caused a mutation. Although his bone set near perfect, his hands and feet are discolored, now a purplish-red. His fangs are slightly too long and his ears just the faintest points. He's impossibly cold even in the summer heat near a fireplace and struggles with insomnia.
He's a quiet man more interested in reading and learning to knit than he is in going out and mingling with others. He has a deep love for nature and quiet little spaces untouched by others. He has old man hobbies like bird watching and quarter collecting.
There are two different ways I'll write him depending on how old he is. If he's a young vampire who was turned in recent history, then he's a loyal and sarcastic man who loves deeply and is often quite gentlemanly and awkward. Younger Albrecht is still not used to vampirism and holds a lot of fear about drinking human blood, so he tries to work around it by only drinking animal blood; however, it makes him weak and his ailments worse.
If he's an older vampire who's been around a while then he's cold and lonesome, unafraid to play dirty. The type to have no home or loyalties to anyone, who's willing to work in dark recesses of the world if it grants him protection or free meals for a while. No questions asked, only does as he's told. Drinks his fill and thinks as little as possible about it, despite the better part of himself telling him to stop.

• I tend to aim for at least 3-5 paragraphs but I can get very chatty and write way more than that when I'm very inspired or given something to really work with. I ask that you strive for at least the same length, but I can also match your length if you write way more than that.

Our characters are trying to make it work. Muse A comes from noble origins, a refined and powerful character who, unfortunately, might not truly have what it takes to make a great ruler. He's a strong and intelligent man but he's on the ruthless and impatient side. He has little care for royal or political affairs and much prefers his pampered life of luxery over any control he could have over a kingdom or army. Muse B is his attendant, he has been and will be for life. To the public, he's a quiet and docile character, to the royal family he's a sharp and loyal man who's unafraid to do what he has to for his master, even if it means killing an intruder or taking the blame for Muse A's wrongdoings during important political dinners. They grew up together as master and servant and continue their status to this day, but only in public spaces. Behind closed doors they're lovers and are deeply committed to one another. They try to make it work the best they can but it's hard to keep up appearances as well as keep a healthy relationship locked behind closed doors, whispers, and rumors that need to be snuffed out.

Even if one could bring themselves to kill the other, there's little to no chance they'd be welcomed within vampiric circles and allowed to live if they were discovered. So, they have to survive in secret, not only from humans but from their own species as well. It's a good thing they like each other.
