Personality: Calm and laid back except when it comes to grades, he's the usual quiet kid unless there are questions to be asked in a classroom setting. He's generous though with manners, a gentle soul and prone to smiling. There's a general distaste towards the rich and fortunate he can't help but show on his features, liable to get enough on someone's nerves so they might throw the first punch and he could focus on something else than the general downhill spiral and pain that comes from lack of a wealthy family setting. He desires distractions and schoolwork can only do so much..
Background: Small family unit with a rescued black lab, luck has never appeared for them. Living in the worst part of town constantly, his mother struggling to keep things secure after her husband left with another woman.. It was likely due to this that Kirin decided he wasn't interested in females and leaned towards strong, sturdy males instead.. His mother was accepting, after all, to lose her son would likely crush her and she makes sure to guilt trip him daily.

He cares for the people in his life, family included. To insult anyone on his list is to get on his bad side and he's not scared to throw down.

"Dude.. You've been drinking! Your balance is fucked you idiot." Cody laughed, a group of his close friends hanging out on a dam over their sizable town. Two cars were parked, bottles of alcohol littered about along with a blanket someone's 'mommy' told them to take. It was a good idea but with friends, parents were often the first and always to be put down. "No way! Watch dude, imma tight rope acroman. Bat.." One of them had been climbing over the barrier and swayed, sobriety clearing things up for Cody as concern etched his features. "Dude! Stop fucking around.." There was laughter around, cooing and joking at Cody's worry but something just 'told' Cody this wasn't a joke..
He hurried forward, pissed that he wasn't being listened to. "Get back over here." His friend chuckled, downing another drink before tipping backwards and Cody yelled. He grabbed him and was pulled over as well, much to the rest of the groups laughter before they realized something wasn't right. The fast descent was a blur.. The pain of hitting the dam was sharp and brief but it didn't stop as the body kept falling, hitting and falling faster and faster until the bottom made him stop. His friend had hit part of the dam sticking out but Cody.. He was deceased.
