~Come little bird, won't you sing for me?~
Greetings and Salutations denizens of the Sanctum. I have been roleplaying off and on for over 20 years, though I see several people here in late 30's so I don't feel too out of place. :) My last roleplaying dalliance was in Guilty Pleasures a little over 8 years ago. It was a wonderful place where I was very involved, but life and circumstances demanded a reprieve - and so I obeyed. As of late, I have been enticed with the idea of Dom/Sub roleplay again. I am a switch so I can do either, but this isn't really about ME persay, as much as it is about my characters. I have a wide range of them to choose from (attached song yielded courage enough to create this post as well as a sample of my many sides) and story arks to pull from. I truly enjoy collaborating with other writers, but I am mostly interested in MxF. I enjoy 1x1 or group RPs. I enjoy smut based and high fantasy. I enjoy discussing worlds, building them, and tearing them down as the moment arises. I enjoy being part of a community and gentle competition ... meaning I enjoy good writers because they make me want to be better. And I have seen many already in just my brief exploration of the site.
As I have been away for so long, I'm afraid my muse is nothing but dust covered in dust. My first few partners will need to be patient and gracious as I try to discover if I even have one left. And yet - the excitement I felt reading the first posts from fellow writers - lets me know there is a phoenix under the piles of ash that was my creative life force. My favorite authors are: Tolkein, Jacquelyn Carey, R.A. Salvatore, Terry Brooks, Laurell K. Hamilton, and even Stephanie Meyers. In a partner I am looking for creativity and consistency. I do struggle with getting excited about things and wanting to burst forth into creative explosion, so my own goal will be to relish and enjoy our collaborative efforts.
So! Please reach out if you have any interest or questions. Otherwise, I may reach out to you. ;) I am grateful for the warm welcome I received upon returning back to the land of textual artistic expression. Happy Writing, xoxo Songbird
