Nomad Greetings & Salutations From a Legacy RPG Forum Nerd

My friends call me Dave. I've been into fantasy since I was a teen, and a couple decades have passed since then. I used to have a presence in half a dozen different themed RPG forums because I could never talk my friends into playing TTRPGs as a kid, but a few years ago one of them brought up playing Pathfinder 1e and I jumped at the chance. Since then, we've run a weekly game for four years straight, and I've built an entire fantasy world. The setting is always growing, as is the lore which is driven heavily by my friends and players. I've written some narrative stories, but always find myself trying to 'leave the game open' even when I'm writing and in complete control. Plus, every few years I get nostalgic for that old-school feel of forum posting and collaborative RPG storytelling.

I've attached the unfinished world map for my fantasy setting of Valmina, and would be happy to tell some stories there, or anywhere else in the infinite multiverse of my fellow writers' imaginations.

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there! However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure!
