Hello everyone!
My name is . . . well, it's not really Paracosm, obviously, but that's what you can call me by. Or Para. Or just whatever rolls off the keyboard easier. Huh. Who knew that "tongue" wasn't interchangeable in that expression.
Anyway, I'm a 19 year old guy from Greece, currently living in France as a university student. As far as I can remember, I've always been into videogames, fantasy and sci-fi novels and all things geek.
Roleplaying first found me when I was still a non-mustachioed 13 year old in the forums of a manga site where making RP groups was really popular. After a good amount of time, approximately 2 years, a core group of users, me included, started talking on social media and we started organising RPs between ourselves.
Well, time has passed and while I often talk with some of them still, we have stopped RPing. Personally, I haven't RPed for more than a year, and I want to get back to it, hence my joining this site.
As far as genres go, I can enjoy anything that is NOT everyday life. That means low-fantasy, high-fantasy, sci-fi, steampunk and a whole slew of others that I won't take the time to list.
My favorite thing about rping is worldbuilding.
I simply enjoy placing the setting, constructing the rules that govern the world and writing it's story, whether the story has a premise that drives the characters or is just a background to their adventures.
