Hello Love, Welcome to I.S., Roleplay is a little different for everyone and you sort of need to get a feel for what works for you. I feel you're pain on jumping onto forums though and not knowing what to do. Here's what I did when I first joined. I spent a lot of time in Chat (this is the box located at the bottom of the site.) Talking to people, asking questions, saying hello, and getting to know the community. After that when I wasn't chatting I was reading. I just read, and read, and read some more. The forums are like an endless library of books, most are unfinished but some are. It will help a ton, showing you how some of your favorite authors write and how they interact with one another when "roleplaying" with other participants. I hope this helps and if you need more assistance jump into chat and ask most people here are super friendly and would be more than willing to aid you. If that doesn't work feel free to send me a PM directly or you can contact anyone that has a colored name for assistance.
