Hello, everyone! Thank you all for the warm welcomes I have received so far!
I am very new to this site, but I have been writing and role playing for 13+ years. I got my start role-playing on Marapets way back in the day, so if there is any chance that someone reading this once roleplayed there at some point please let me know! I would love to reconnect with the amazing role players I met through there, but I know that's a long shot.
Anyways! I took a long break from writing in general for several years, and now that life has settled down a bit, I have an ache to get back into it. However, I'm suffering from a terrible case of writers block! I felt like the best cure would be to find some creative individuals to roleplay with. This site seems perfect for it! I'm very new to the way things work here, and my writing may be a little rusty at first. I think it would be best for me to start off with some short term roleplays to get a feel for everything again. I gotta dip my toes in the water before I just jump in, you know?
I tend to match the amount others write, but I prefer at least 1-2 paragraph responses. I have been known to get bored easily with short, non-detailed responses. The more detailed you are, the more it will challenge me and keep my attention.
I would really love to find some people to chat with to help me figure out the ins and outs of this site and the way you all do things before I get started with any role play. For instance, reminding me what all the roleplaying lingo is and the acronym meanings.
Also, it will be greatly appreciated if anyone would just like to recommend plots or topics to me so that I can see what peaks my interest. I'm very open to suggestions and I enjoy trying new topics, but if it's something fandom related that I am not familiar with, I'm probably not the one you want roleplaying that with you.
