M/Ace/{6'1"|185}/23 (Looks 23)
Black hair and eyes

Neutral Good
Part of my own established fantasy universe
-Desc-
Physically: He stands at 6'1" (185 cm), and seems to be 23 [earth] years old. He holds himself well, and can be intimidating to some. He's lanky, yet well-built, and despite his mediocre build, he's quite strong in practice. He has black eyes, and to some they even look empty. His hair is similarly tar-black, and messy, since he rarely washes it. His clothes, invariably, are a well-worn tan shirt and off-tan pants with too many pockets, along with shoes of some unidentifiable, leather-like material. He house is a cabin in a valley, which houses a small village on one end and a large forest in the rest.
Reputationally: Among the village, no one really knows him very well. All they know about him is that he comes to the square every so often, sporting a heavy backpack full of magical healing items, and he hasn't seemed to age for the few decades he's been coming. Some accuse him of witchcraft, others of satanic dealings, but he doesn't bother anyone and his prices are good, so no one really cares. Despite this popularity, he doesn't even have a stand at the square, apparently preferring to set up by leaning against the wall in a vacant spot with his pack behind his legs.
Locationally: The valley is in a desert-like climate, meaning it gets hot during the day and cold at night. The reason its so full of life is because it's a mana hotspot. The village is astoundingly diverse, with civilians of every background and species coexisting. Among them, the forest is a quite dangerous place; the way they say goodbye to those passing through is "Stay on the trails!" This is because, while it is confirmed that the forest has numerous dangerous creatures, they've never attacked anyone following the trails, and there are few accounts of them attacking people who don't attack them first.
He also loves wandering, often times breaking the monotony in the valley with a long, wandering and aimless trip, sometimes with a companion, most of the time alone. He'll take odd jobs and sell his magic and items in various towns he comes across, but if you were to track his purchase history, the only food items he ever gets are those which are potion ingredients.

-Desc (Items)-
All of Rick's items appear to be some kind of solid, transparent neon-green, almost plastic-like substance. His shield, on his left arm, centers on his hand, and reaches out to his elbow, forming a circle easily capable of shielding his entire body. His sword, on the other hand, appears to have no discernable hilt or handle. Instead the blade begins at his wrist, and extends about two and a half feet outward. Additionally, one half of the sword is longer than the other by about six inches.
-Backstory-
Washed up, alcoholic, and bankrupt, ????? volunteered for an experimental "conscience transplant". He was accepted because he had no living next of kin or relations to anyone else, and was told that he would be swapping minds with the only other accepted volunteer. Everything would have gone perfectly, but something happened. The other subject remained braindead, and ????? woke up mostly coherent. His didn't match the personality of ?????, but it didn't match the other subject's either. Somehow, the scientists had implanted a completely new mind in this body. After a day or so, the scientists lost what little funding they had for the project, and were forced to let this new (?) person go. Luckily, by that time, he had managed to identify himself as Rick.
After this, Rick began recalling strange things. Among the strangest were concepts and blueprints for holographically projected solid implements. He ended up finding a completely abandoned and overlooked lot in some decrepit part of his city, and began working on whatever he saw. Eventually, after several years, he managed to perfect the process, and carries around a pair of gloves capable of projecting a sword and shield. The sword, he believes, could be used as much more, and is trying to restructure it into a gun and hook.

-Desc-
Theese Aregon (pronounced "Thees Areh-gun") is in his own time 26 years old, and stands at 5'9" (175 cm). His eyes are a soft green, his hair dark brown and short, his face often making him look younger than he is, and his skin heavily tanned. If you look closely, you'll probably notice that his right eye is lighter than his left. He wears clothing identifying him as a Wikiedia Universis senior field researcher: tan pants with plenty of pockets, an off-red shirt, inconel-toed boots, and a black, fingerless utility glove on his left hand. The duties of a WU (or U3, as it's frequently referred to) senior field researcher mean he finds himself on a new planet about every other week, collecting new data on its ecosystem, society, and just about everything else. He speaks most common languages fluently, and all the rest well enough, along with some more obscure languages.
Theese Aregon is a field researcher for Wikiedia Universis. He travels to less-known planets and reports consistently quality research, and is in fact one of the most trusted researchers within his branch. In fact, rather than using ECHO (Extra-C Holologic Overdrive) on every trip, he prefers to use ACID (Ante-C Interstellar Drive) and go into stasis, which saves the company a considerable amount of money on fuel. Of course, his ship is still outfitted with ECHO, ACID, and LSD (Light-Speed Drive), as well as enough auxiliary tanks to refill itself twice over, since many of his operations require different deadlines. Beyond this and his stasis module, his ship only has bare living essentials: a dual-purpose bedroom/bathroom, a mid-range food synthesizer, and a relatively small cockpit. The only room that could come close to being considered spacious is his study, in which he records data from his expeditions - in every form available to him. This is backed by the wall of journals in his study, which contain all the information he has ever gathered. All other parts of the ship are either generator (which has about five backup generators, since it powers the stasis module), storage, fuel, databanks, or CPU for the primitive P/S unit aboard. It is also worth noting that he still has his Remote (electro-mechanical assistant type), which takes the form of a salamander (draconic, not reptilian - 6 legs no wings). He has named it Lynx, and it tends to be the upkeep for the ship.
The ship itself, christening name Destination: Anywhere Else, usually just refered to as the Destination, is mostly small, sleek towards the front and excitedly chunky towards the rear. The only hatch in on the left side connecting to the cockpit, and the airlock can maybe hold one and a half people. On the outside, it's a dark, earthy-brown with red highlights and the Wikiedia logo on either side in grey: a hexagon with a three-pointed V shape in negative space. It's scratched up, but mostly superficial.
As a child, Theese was an orphan. He was housed by an inter-species orphanage, and with his quick mind, ended up learning most every official Internos Language. He had a habit, back then, of sleeping for up to two hours a day, and climbing on the building. Along with his climbing, he managed to find another way to occupy himself: he created an extensive, comprehensive catalog of everyone in the orphanage. The staff secretly used it to help them take care of the children, and it soon became well known as a very reputable establishment. Theese noticed the use of his list, but said nothing, both because a better reputation meant more children, and because he didn't want to embarrass the staff.

-K'da-
The K'da are a secret species. As far as most of the universe knows, they're not an actual thing. They're not technically dragons, resembling something between a drake and a lung dragon. On average, they are about the size of a small tiger. Their scales can range across all the colors of the rainbow, and so can their edges. The most notable example is gold scales with red edges. When angered or in danger, their black blood flows in excess through their body, providing the side effect of turning them black.
All of that has failed, though, to touch on their most vital aspect of their biology: they are symbionts. That is, they need a host in order to survive. As it is with any other symbiont, there are only a select few species that can serve well as hosts, the best fit being humans. When not in 3-dimensional form, they shift onto their host's body in a 2-dimensional form. They can stay in this form for as long as they need, and are able to move across their host's skin freely. However, they can only live when off of their partner for up to 6 hours. There are certain abilities that are human-specific, but not every K'da knows about them.
