Ugh, did you do the double-rent-for-a-month thing to make the actual moving part easier, or was this a big, long distance type of thing where it's just a scramble to pack or ditch everything you own and then explode it when you get there?

I got a mortgage but being it was my first own address I had to iron some things out then had to wait for some construction to be finished, then sorting that moving into it and changing my details it was very draining but very worth it in the end. I had bedroom stuff but needed to get things for the rest of the house.

That sounds suuuuper stressful, but like the payoff is definitely worth it ^_^ Now you get to do all the fun parts; DECORATING AND PARTIES! ... erm ... eventually parties.
