Halloween Movie Night!

Happy Spooky Season Sanctum Dwellers.

After a bit of a delay to test out a new site for it, we can officially announce that we will be having a Halloween Horror stream starting at around noon on October 30th and running most of the day. Time zone conversion should be here: Oct 30, 2021 at 12:00 PM

We will be running a gauntlet of classic horror films, horror comedies and related films, with Treehouse of Horror episodes in between. We will be announcing the lineup ahead of time in chat, if there are any movies you really want to see (or avoid )

And more. Our goal is to run ALL DAY.

Exciting!!! I adore horror films, I'll be sure to try and participate!
If may make a suggestion, I always recommend the 8th Friday the 13th. It's hilariously bad But if we're looking for good horror, I recommend The Orphanage. Still one of the best horror films as of late.

Hell Fest is similar to F13 (slasher). At least that's what I get from it.
The Hollow is absolutely amazing. It's like a thriller/horror thing, I think? Never had to describe movies by genre (or kind of horror, I guess?) so I kinda stink at it. lol

LOL I understand. There are a couple subgenres of horror, like slasher, shock films, torture porn (which isn't what it sounds like, I promise), etc. I'll give them both a watch!

"Torture porn" is basically just gore for the sake of gore. Think some of the later Saw movies, where the traps were the main focus rather than the story.

I'm not opposed to it, but there is always the question of where and how. The site we used to use is gone and we have never found an adequate replacement which lets us stream without making outside accounts
