- hanas father died in a car accident when the outbreak started, she was 14 when she found out and turned tot he church. hana prefers not to talk about her fathers death as it reminds her that she truly is alone and having to take care of her ill mother.

- hanas birthday, on her 14th birthday a week before the outbreak and her fathers death. hana received a pendent shaped like a wing in gold. hana and her family couldent afford much but in getting the pendent she felt closer with her family and happy to know she didnt need much in the world. it helps to know hanas father had been working and not coming home most nights that started a fight with her parents that eventually caused her to feel distressed that her parents might leave each other.
