Dress to Impress!
June is Pride month! The badge you'll get from this is a little rainbow shirt, so if you have it already and just want to participate to play with us, please feel free! And, hey, if you missed out on badges last year, now is the chance to start collecting them. If you're new here, oh my gosh, welcome! Let's play a game!
Here are the Rules:
This month's aesthetic, Pride!
First, I'm requiring your pfp to be something in the realm of your version of a celebrating pride month. Be your genuine self here when you participate and really make it your own. But please try.
Second, feature one other change to fit the theme, such as, a banner or signature. You can also change your custom title as well. I will specify that your signature can have a quote (or closely related subjects) displayed in text, or you can have something under your username, such as "Love is Love"
You don't have to add images into your signature, but you can, and those will count for credit, too!
To earn a badge, you must have your pfp set, plus one of the other items from the list below.
This can be any combination of pfp (profile picture) plus:
- Banner art
- Signature art or appropriate customization
- Custom title
You do not have to draw or make the art yourself (but you can), just dress up for the occasion! We have a theme for pride, too, it's conveniently called Pride, for any that are unfamiliar. It pops like Lisa Frank.
Once you complete your look, let me know. Post a screenshot of your finished look in the thread for a t-shirt badge. You can change your aesthetic back after posting if you dislike parting with your standard look and style. The goal is to have fun, not to make anyone uncomfortable.
Creative Station
This section is for free expression, but please let's avoid triggers and stay SFW.
You can post art! This can be something you drew. Something you created digitally, a photoshop (or any of the various other programs) rendering. A photograph. A craft, like jewelry or homemade stamps! The rule regarding art is that it must be something you've done yourself. Typing a prompt into AI is not what we're looking for in this particular section, okay?
You can post a song that means a lot to you. This can be a linked from youtube (remember to use spoilers) or even a song you've written yourself, be it an audio file or shared as written lyrics.
You can write a poem, or a short story. Let's keep these around 300 words or less.
You can do any of these things, or all of them, and post as much as you want. Be social, talk to each other. Give praise where it's due. Even if that's praise to a person you look up to.
Express yourself in a way that matters and means something to you!
Participation in this event is welcome even if you have the badge already. But if you don't, you'll get a rainbow hand print badge you can equip and wear proudly!
As you can tell by my pfp and banner, I'm pansexual. Previously I identify as bisexual until I realize that pan suited me better.
