A big hello to staff and fellow roleplayers! I am new to the site, and am incredibly excited to start rolepaying once again after a hiatus in my favorite writing hobby. I have been writing stories and roleplaying on and off for..Oof, how long has it been now? About ten years! I made many mistakes in my earlier years, but have hopefully improved as a writer and as a person as I've grown up into an adult. But basically I am here because I love to tell stories, and more importantly, I love building stories with a fellow writer. Feeding off of each other's creativeness and waiting for the those exciting replies! That's what I love about this wonderful community.
I generally write novel/multi para, and I have to confess that grammar and punctuation are kind of a big thing for me. When I roleplay with someone, or read a roleplay, the idea for me, is for it to feel like you're reading something out of a real novel. Also I am by no means finicky on length, and this is something that can be talked over privately with rp partners, but I do put a lot of effort into my stories, and frankly if I'm given a one liner in return..It's kinda disappointing. Or if you copy and paste my character's words and then just respond to those specific questions and put nothing of yourself, honestly you'll be breaking my heart a little. Roleplaying is a two way street, and I don't want to end up writing solo, you feel me? ^^
That being said, I will not, absolutely not tolerate 'god moding," v.v and if that bothers anyone, I'm sorry. I don't mind if you want to guide my character somewhere etc..(That's how friendships and relationships go,) just as long as you don't take OVER the character I've created. I've dealt with it a lot in the past, and I always let it pass, but now I'm finally putting my foot down about it, because I think I have to. Also just a shout out to fellow future roleplay partners, I dabble mainly in FxM, MxF and MxM. I am a woman, but I love the challenge of playing the opposite sex as well ;). Just FYI.
So without further ado, let's get some stories going!!! ^^ Yay!
