Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me to the forum so far. I look forward to getting to know the rest of you.
I'm James, I'm 25, and I reside in the Pacific timezone of the United States. I've been writing stories collaboratively through roleplay for about ten years. I cut my teeth playing on Whisper, which, looking back, was a terrible experience. I graduated up to Reddit, which is where I've been finding roleplay partners for a while now. I found this site through a link on Reddit, and thought I'd give it a shot. I've never had my stories read by anyone other than the people who were writing them, and I'm a little nervous about having my writing out in the open for people to read. It's good to get out of your comfort zone sometimes.
I tend to write genre fiction roleplays, especially sci-fi, horror, fantasy, and superhero. I will write fiction with more realistic settings if I'm in the mood and the story strikes me as interesting. I'm currently jonesing for a superhero story, and will be posting an ad for it shortly. I tend to write about 1,000 words per post, but can write a lot more if I'm really feeling the story.
When I'm not writing, I like reading, baking, cooking, cycling, going to concerts. I collect music and comics. I am a graduate student studying library and information science, and currently work as a librarian.
I'll see you out there. :)
