hello all! i'm olive (but oli is just fine too) ⏤ early thirties, genderfluid (they/them), AuDHD. when i'm not working, writing or rotting on the couch i'm watching animal docs or science vids on youtube, reading or re-watching my favorite shows (taskmaster fans?). spooky season is my favorite season, and my fave genre to read/watch is horror! currently obsessed with short horror story collections and novellas, so always open to recommendations! i do have poor health/chronic pain that impacts my availability at times. it's not unusual for me to disappear for a few days to prioritize my health. i've been roleplaying on and off for roughly 20 ish years (shout out to neoboards) with a few hiatuses sprinkled in. over the last 10 years, most of my experience has occurred on discord, email, and other forum-hosting platforms ⏤ so i'm pretty new to this kind of platform and the coding, etc. but i like learning new things c:
my style
i like to define my style as lazy lit. quality over quantity always! some replies are a solid paragraph, other times they're 4-5. i don't stress myself out trying to match a specific length & would never ask my partners to either! tense wise, i generally default to past tense but do enjoy dabbling in present tense from time to time. love, love, love any plots involving gender diverse characters, aspec characters, and neurodivergent characters! i will write pairings of all genders and sexualities. smut friendly, but never mandatory ⏤ always fine with fading to black! primarily enjoy plots with some sort of romantic aspect (does not have to be a main focus) but i also enjoy exploring platonic and familial dynamics. real life and speculative are the genres i'm most comfortable with, but i also enjoy fantasy, supernatural, and sci-fi plots (for the most part in that order).
looking forward to exploring the community & getting to know people!
